Which is favorite warmer? Plug-in or full size?

Is it worth getting this magazine? I'm a first time mom, first time homeowner and first time living with my significant other. We're settling in and adjusting all the while trying to decorate our home. 

Which gives off more sent, a candle or a warmer?

I've always wanted to try this but I was afraid it was a waste of money if the scent of it didn't last long.
