Hill's Prescription Diet K/d Canine Renal Health Canned Dog Food
Due to his liver shunt my Yorkie was put on this diet. He likes both the canned and dry version, though we both prefer they dry option as its easier to deal with
My foster boy who is super picky loves this thankfully. He was diagnosed with pyelonephritis which is caused by a long term untreated bacterial infection he suffered before coming into rescue. All of the dogs try to steal his food which means it must be tasty!
My mom uses this dog food for her two dogs. They are picky eaters and she went through s ton of different brands of food until she came across this one. She said the dogs love it . She has two large golden retrievers and they were on the larger size . It was starting to hurt there hips so with picky eaters this dog food did the trick
Wonderful for dogs who have any type of kidney issues. This is even better now that it comes in more than one flavor for those "picky" eaters.
Worked at a vet for a year and sold a lot of it. This is a amazing product I would definitely recommend.
Sell this at the vet I work for. dogs seem to love it and people keep coming back to buy more!
My yorkie showed signs of kidney failure and was put on this food. She has been on it for about 4 months and when she went in for a checkup, her kidney levels were back up to normal. She prefers the canned stew. So thankful for this food!
Found out early on that our puppy has a renal deformity so the vet put us on the dry version of this food. It's expensive, but it was doing the job (keeping the protein out of her system). But, because she's high maintenance and after a while she stopped wanting to eat the dry food so we went and bought the can food to mix in with the dry to get her to eat it. So far, so good! Definitely worth the money and does what it's supposed to for the renal issues.
She loved this stuff and I don't usually buy her this kind of food but she liked it ore then the others which made me happy
For dogs with kidney disease. Thy may have lowered appetites when not well and wet food is usually more palatable. I've been told told that when pets go off other renal support food they will eat this one.
