It’s a bit too sugary, but if you like sweets you may enjoy this. I do love how easy it is to make and how many packets you get for the price. The box has lasted me a while, but that is also because it its an unhealthy breakfast, and I dont feel great eating this in the morning. Good on occasion!

I'm disappointed in this oatmeal. I've always eaten Quaker Instant, and knew from buying the Great Value Cinnamon Swirl that the GV oats are different and certainly not from Quaker, and I didn't care for the flavor either, but thought maybe the Apple Cinnamon might be ok. Well, the oats are the same bigger-flakes-than-Quaker as the Cinnamon Swirl as expected, but they don't 'fluff' up when adding hot water, so it's like little bits of cardboard instead of mushy chewable oats like Quaker. Couldn't hardly taste the apple flavor either. The packets are only 1.23 oz instead of the 1.51 that Quaker has, so noticeably less in the bowl after cooking. Sure, they're $1 cheaper than WM's price on Quaker and almost 1/2 of what Publix charges, but they're just not to my liking enough to buy again. And I usually like Great Value's food items. Unlike some reviews say, this is nowhere NEAR as good as "the name brand", sorry.
