I got this foundation sample from sephora when I started my search of a new foundation. I was color IQ-ed and given a sample of this foundation based on my needs and skin type. I used this foundation for over two weeks and I DO NOT LIKE IT AT ALL! I used a flat top kabuki brush to apply it but it does not blend well. It just sits on top of the skin looking cakey right from the get go. I read on the sephora website that you are supposed to use your fingers to blend it in. Fine. I did that too. It did look a lot less cakey I agree. But it still clung on to any texture I had on my face. Throughout the day, it settled in my laugh lines making me look so much older. In addition to that it oxidized on me to a weird dark orange shade. According to the salesperson at sephora this shade was a tad lighter and my perfect match was a shade darker. Imagine how dark that wouldve gotten. I'm very happy I tried the sample first before I flushed 40 bucks down the drain. A total fail for me.
I got the full size conditioner in my voxbox for review. It smells like the shampoo and has the same chewy Toffee like scent. I actually felt the shampoo in itself was moisturizing and conditioning enough. I felt the conditioner didn't really add anything to my hair. I took a good amount of conditioner and I felt like it didn't spread well if you all know what I mean. The conditioners I used in the past were more spreadable no matter now much or less you used. This sort of stayed were it was applied and I had to apply more for the rest of my hair. I didn't feel any difference in my hair. My hair was conditioned with the shampoo already and I felt like this was more work with no added benefits. And you need a lot more product compared to other conditioners. I'd definitely buy the shampoo again but not the conditioner.
I got a full sized shampoo in my voxbox for review. Coincidentally, I used a herbal essences long term relationship shampoo before I got this. I didn't like the way it made my hair feel. I was open to giving this shampoo a try and see if it actually did revitalize my hair. It smells like one of those chewy toffees. Nothing too strong or pungent though. While shampooing I felt like the shampoo made the hair feel soft like a conditioner would. It added that voluminous softness to my hair right from moment I washed it out of my hair. I blow dried my hair the first time and I loved the softness and volume it had. The great thing about this is that even on the third day of washing my hair, my hair wasn't flat or limp. My hair felt conditioned and manageable. Overall love the shampoo! Would definitely buy it again. It does what it claims: to rejuvenate dull lifeless hair. One thing I noticed was that it has no effect on the hair fall. I noticed the same amount of hair fall I did with the long term relationship shampoo by herbal essences and I did not like it. I've had less hair fall with other shampoos which is why I took out a star.
Love the foundation. At the price, it is an amazing foundation. I got it when everyone on YouTube was raving about it and I was running out of my l'oreal infallible which had been discontinued for the tube version. Now, this foundation comes with a little Spatula end which I believe is for application directly to the face but I am not comfortable with that so I smear the foundation from the Spatula on the brush and then on the face. So a pump would've been great. Once it's on, is a whole other story. It's full coverage and it sets fast. So you have to work fast. It does smell like paint but it's not something that you can smell for too long. It goes away. The lasting power is great although I do find it settling in my laugh lines but you got to set those areas well with setting powder. I have found it to be a foundation that you really need to remove well with possibly a double cleansing process as it tends to break me out when I've been lazy with the removal. I have very sensitive acne-prone skin and anything can become a reason for a breakout. All that being said, I love the foundation! Totally recommend it. And totally recommend taking it off well.
I used herbal essences many...many years ago and I remember thinking it smells amazing! But it didn't do my hair any good. All these years later, I'm afraid nothing has changed for me. I bought this shampoo from Walmart when I wanted to try something new. I smelt it and I loved how herbal essences still had the best smelling shampoos. I used it and it made my hair smell amazing. And my hair smelt great for a couple of days. But after repeated use, I felt my hair was drier, more tangled and my scalp more itchy with some bumps her and there. I really wanted it to work for me this time. I loved the smell of the shampoo. But sadly, it didn't. I feel like I need a more moisturizing shampoo.
I bought a three k-cup pack of this flavor when I wanted to sample other flavors besides my usual. It was wayyyy too sweet for me. I mean I thought I was drinking vanilla syrup. I had to add a teaspoon of instant coffee to cut the sweetness and add a little coffee flavor. Not for me. But I understand for someone who likes the flavor, it's very convenient and cost effective to have vanilla Cafe lattes at home.
I saw these at TJMaxx for $4.99 and I knew I had to get them. It was a good buy since I was out of my Simple face wipes and these were for $4.99. Hello! It claims to cleanse, brighten and hydrate with vitamin C and CoQ10. I used it after a dinner at a friend's and it didn't remove my eyeliner and mascara. I had to rub pretty hard which is never pleasant around the eye. But it did make my skin feel softer. I felt my skin was a bit more glowy in the morning. Softer and hydrated. I like how they make my skin feel, but I won't get them for makeup removal. I love how it comes with a solid plastic cover for the opening in addition to the sticky cover only.
Good sized for the price. $1.34 for two. Because you cannot eat just one. I love the packaging. Very Christmas-y. I recently found out they are only available around the Christmas time. It has a chocolate layer with a thick Marshmallow interior. The Marshmallow has a mild flavor which goes really well with the chocolate shell. Love it!
This product works like magic. According to the instructions, you spray it on, leave for a couple of minutes and then rub. I have not used a product that works this well. I bought it first when I was cleaning my kitchen cabinets to prep them for painting. We all know how kitchen cabinets accumulate grease over time. The Goof Off Gulk remover made my life so much easier.
One thing that bummed me was the pump. I'm not sure if I got a bad bottle but the pump was not working properly. At first I thought maybe it's because the product is rather thick that's why it doesn't spray well. But soon it stopped spraying all together. I had to get the spray head off and pour a little amount on my cleaning cloth. Very disappointing.
That being said, I'll definitely purchase this again. If I can find it another more convenient packaging that'll be awesome. It also has a citrusy scent to it. It's kinda like when the oranges have gone bad a little. But it's not repulsive. It's not chemically either. No problems with the scent.
