The packaging is super cute. The little doll like figures remind me of my Bratz Dolls as a little girl. Also, I really love how they matched the coloring of the label to what the product inside looks like. Of course, I didn’t know that fact until after I purchased them and opened them up at home. If you have any other cushion product you know the packages are relatively the same. They come with a little flat sponge applicator and a cover over the actual product to keep it from drying out. This particular packaging does not come with a mirror. The product itself is liquid soaked in a sponge. To release the product, take a sponge or brush and press on the sponge so that the product transfers on to your tool. Very straight forward. I personally love cushion products. I think the whole idea of them is pretty cool. Application: Cushion products are liquid. Therefore, you want to use these BEFORE any powder products. Liquid on top of powder looks super cakey and can cause things to move around. No Bueno. To use these, I first apply my liquid foundation then my concealer, and finally I’ll go in with the contour and/or highlight. After, I set my face with powder as I normally would. To apply the actual product itself, I use my beauty sponge. I dab my sponge right on the cushion and then apply where I want. The sponge really helps to easily blend out the product and give it that seamless, blended appearance
