If life is a bowl full of cherries, I'm a mixed metaphor. Or an insane college graduate with way too many volunteer gigs, way too few paying gigs, and a habit of filling every minute of the day with something.
I love the HP series, but to be honest, it starts out a little slow. This book is focused on building a story that ultimately builds a world for an epic to occour- meaning it spends a lot of time on details, and not so much on plot. Is that a bad thing? Of course not- die hard fans, or those who are looking for a long term bookish commitment will happily digest all of these details if it means getting set up for the good bits. But as a stand alone novel? There could be improvements. Read my full review at: http://maedaylife.com/2014/03/22/hp1/
If you're looking for some crazy coloured hair, this is your product. If you're looking for a food item, it shouldnt be. The dyes and flavoring aren't the best, and the sugar you add to it to make it drinkable is often more than what's in soda. Drink tea, water, juice, or soda if you want, and leave this stuff to your hair.
We love to customize, and this is the place to do it at. Youre basically making your own flavors here, but beware the pricing is per add in. The ice cream is high quality, and so are most of the add-ins. They also offer other products, but by far the best and most popular is the build your own.
Red Mango is a great ice-cream alternative. They have fresh and high quality product that tastes amazing. The prices are a little higher than many of their competitors, and they do focus on the healthy options, so your date may not love it as much as you do.
As a kid growing up on both sides of the American-Canadian border, I always missed Smarties in the lower 48. Unlike M+M they have an amazing flavored coating that melts in your mouth to unveil the chocolate center. Enjoy the whole thing!
It's hard to find good for you treats, and Skinny Cow has been a stable and avaiable brand for years now. Their products are good quality, fairly healthy (as frozen treats go) and well priced. That being said, no one every ate Skinny Cow thinking it was a full fat something. You know you're not getting the real stuff- the question is, is it worth it to indulge?
These are not the best quality of anything, but a cookies and cream bar is a nice little treat when we find them (most of our local stores no longer stock them regularly). Theres something about the mix in textures, and the burst of nostalgia that makes me pick one up when I see them, and savor the bar in the parking lot.
These are road-food crack. Cheese and salt and pretzels is the best combination (hehe) for a long trip. Let it be known this is no health food, but if I have to endure my family for seven hours in the car, I don't care!
