Executive Assistant by day. Yoga teacher. Blogger. My social media outlets and blog chronicle my adventures with travel, food and beverage, yoga, and my obsession with the Danish concept of hygge. All things that feed my soul. I've made it my mission to travel and live life knowing that one doesn't have to spend a fortune or sacrifice wellness in order to have a fun, chic, fulfilling journey!
Super tasty and adorable, Herbaland Protein Gummies have little to no sugar (only 1g!), 10g of protein, and 28g of fiber. Edible for 99% allergies, restrictions, afflictions. The pea protein gives a minimally odd texture but taste overides this! I stumbled upon these again at my city’s annual wellness show and happily accepted more samples!
This was a nice spin on green tea. Green tea can be a touch bitter, so added ingredients, like Roiboos and lemongrass, make this tea nice and smooth. I got a solid two steeps’ worth with the one tea bag, and I would definitely buy some.
These pads are a great travel alternative to the toner. It’s a gentle cleansing toner pad and I find it effective for my skincare routine. I love that Origins provides this option in their line of products.
I’m using this in a trial size at the moment and I’m a bit disconcerted that the cleanser doesn’t foam up. But I suppose that speaks to the fact that this is an entirely natural cleanser. I enjoy that it doesn’t dry out my skin.
This is a pretty coloured cleanser with a citrusy smell. You don’t need to use much per wash, so this bottle will last a long time. This is the cleanser I use as my alternative and/or as a travel facial cleanser.
This came in the Eminence Clear Skin probiotics starter kit that I purchased and it’s a lovely mask! Eminence has beautiful packaging and quality products; very concentrated, so you don’t have to use much! The mask feels fresh on my face and washed off nicely. I need to use it a few more times before I can go be it five stars!
This toner is the only one that I have found (since having stopped using Proactiv) that doesn’t over dry out my skin. It feels fresh and light in my face and does a fantastic job in combination with my face wash and moisturizer. I also only use this at night.
This gel feels lovely when you put it on. It also smells nice and is quite light. I don’t feel it does anything for dark eye circles, but I do notice a difference re puffiness in the morning after I put it on.
I love this mask so much. Origins is my go-to skincare brand and this mask is fantastic. My skin colour is combination, but tend more towards oily in my t-zone. Every couple of weeks before bed, I use my Checks & Balances face, the mask, and then a moisturizer that I’ve used for years and my skin is SO HAPPY.
Though they are sold at a reasonable price, I usually find Clif Bars to be too sweet for my taste. So I was intrigued to see this nut butter filled version. (And with peanut butter – my favourite!) This was the perfect post-yoga morning snack as I usually don’t get to my smoothie or oatmeal until I get to work. I’ll be adding these into the snack rotation.
