My natural hair color is dark brown, but some months ago I got it dyed orange (so, there was some bleaching involved). This month I decided I wanted a different look, but I didn't want to go through a rough hair color session, so I went to Sally's Beauty and got this semi-permanent dye. I applied it at home by myself, and I have to admit I was a little bit worried because I didn't know if my orange hair would accept it or if it would look pretty. Results: it's amazing. My natural roots look black with a shy color reflect, and the hair that used to be orange now is blueish/green. It was easy to apply, but it does stain the skin a lot, so take your precautions. I still have to wait and see how long it stays vibrant on the hair, but so far so good, I love the color and I feel very happy with my new look. The price was acceptable and, since I have short hair, I only used half the bottle.
I've been using this loose powder for so long and I love it. It's perfect for setting my concealer and baking (it doesn't add much highlight tho). I have very oily skin, so this powder helps me to control the shine for my everyday makeup. I don't think I would recommend it for dry-skin people, because when I have some dry patches caused by acne, it does cling to them if I don't hydrate my face.
I've always been a pen eyeliner type of girl, but I decided it was time to try out a gel eyeliner so I got this one from the drugstore. I really enjoy that it's very pigmented and easy to work with. I use the brush it comes with only when I don't want a cat eye. If I want a wing I use a long angled brush. The eyeliner lasts all day even in a humid weather and doesn't smudge. It can be a bit tricky to take off.
I got this palette directly from the Coastal Scents website, and the price was nice. This is a full shimmers palette, so you can't create a full look with it, but it has very beautiful berry and purple colors, mostly cool toned. While the shadows swatch amazing, I definitely have to work a bit when applying them on my lids, usually wetting my brush with setting spray and building the color up with at least two layers of product. They do last a long time on my eyes, even without a primer, so I think that's very nice. Also, I really like that they're all magnetic pans and that the palette comes with a giant mirror, it makes it travel-friendly.
I truly LOVE this brushes. I got them six years ago and they're still in perfect shape. There's a brush for everything: powders, liquids, shimmery eyeshadows, lipstick, there's even a brush with a sponge tip that you can use to blend eyeliner. This is a very affordable kit, and I think for the price the quality is amazing, the brushes perform beautifully. I really don't like that much the material of the case, but it holds them nice. If you want to get new brushes, but can't/don't want to splurge on an expensive kit, this is such a good option, I totally recommend it.
I really like this product for those days that I want a natural look. I prefer how it looks on the cheeks, but I do feel it is a bit drying on the lips so I always put a lip balm or a gloss on top of it. It's easy to apply with the fingers, but it does stain them. I don't know if it's really worth the price, but I have to accept I use it constantly. I always apply it on top of cream or liquid products, before any powders. I would recommend it if you're sure you'll use it constantly.
Hands down one of the best highlighters I've ever used. I got it at a beauty store for a good price and I've loved it since the first time I swatched it. If you like a metallic and blinding glow, this one is a good option for you. It's very buildable, but it takes only one application to see the beautiful finish it leaves. I think the Precious Petals tone is good for neutral/warm skin tones since it's more peachy and gold. I love that it lasts a long time on my face, even without setting spray, and it doesn't emphasize pores or texture like other highlighters.
I'm not sure why it says its discontinued in the page, because I got one in Crushed Grapes like a month ago. I'm a big fan of lip glosses, I truly like the shiny finish they leave on my lips. These are good options if you're looking for a super affordable option, but they're not the best I've ever used. Crystal Clear it's a typical transparent gloss, it's not oily but it wears off fast. It smells weird but it's not a strong scent. On the other hand, Crushed Grapes lasted longer on my lips, but I definitely could feel the glitter on my lips/mouth, and it felt like I was eating it. Also, I feel this colour it's a bit more sticky than the other I have.
I got this one as a gift from a friend and I love it so much! Mine is from the Marilyn Monroe collection (in Ruby Red), so I guess it's limited edition. When I first used it I noticed the creamy texture, it doesn't feel heavy on the lips and it smells delicious. The finish is opaque, not matte or glossy, and it's a bit hydrating. This particular color goes perfectly with my skin tone (and undertone), so I reach for it constantly. The shape of the lipstick makes it easy to apply without a lip liner if you opt for that. I'm totally looking to try other colour.
