Review for: Manic Panic Vampire Red Hair Dye 4 oz more...
I dyed my hair vampire red, expecting a darker red color but it's super bright. My hair was bleached light blonde with pastel purple/lilac, majenta pink, and light blue over top (middle picture), and it still turned out super bright. It covered my inch of mediun brown roots, but 3 washes later (in cold water, with color safe products) they are already fading back to brown. My bleached hair is still nice and vibrant, with only a bit of fading. This. Stuff. Is. Messy! Cover all work areas, slather yourself in vasoline, especially your face/neck/ears and even your arms, and DEFINITELY wear gloves, including when you rinse it out. This will continue to bleed whenever your hair is wet, so use dark towels, and pillowcases, because if you sweat in your sleep at all, it will get on your skin and clothes/pillow. It will also stain anything it touches, so clean up quickly. Every day for the first 2ish weeks after dying, every morning I have to use alcohol on my face/neck because I wake up with it red.
This is stupid good quality for the price lol. It's super cheap and yet does an amazing job at making my hair feel better. I like the squeeze bottle, too. There's nothing more annoying than having to unscrew a tub, scoop product out, and rescrew the lid while fighting to not drop the container or product you've just scooped out lol. I use this a couple times a week and my hair is well moisturized and detangled after. It smells nice, too.
I used to love the flavor of this but it seems like it changed a couple of years ago. Now it's not as strong flavored and I have to add a bunch of stuff to make it tastes as good as it used to be. I always add either cream cheese or sour cream, and peas. Not the best quality or nutritious food but when you're in a rush it makes for a quick meal.
For this brush to only be 0ne dollar, it works just as well as high end brushes that cost 20+ times that. The quality is great, well made. The bristles are nice and don't she'd. It lays down colors nicely. It cleans up well. This is a great deal.
Overall, I like this product. I like that it's not super wet and dries down quickly, so you're not stuck with goopy stuff getting all over the place. I like that it doesn't dry down into an uncomfortable, hard "mask face" like lots of wet masks do. It exfoliates my skin, causing it to peel, but I do have to go in with another face cleanser after to get rid of the peeling skin. My skin feels very tight and clean after use, definitely not a moisturizing mask. I suggest using a heavy moisturizer afterwards if you don't like your skin feeling "stripped", so to speak. The only dislike I have is the application method. The stick is great, for flat areas of the face, but using it around the nose, t-zone, eyes, chin, all kinda suck. I ended up having to rub the mask on my finger to get it in those areas. I think it'd be better if it were a different shape, maybe a pyramid or an oval, instead of round.
I wasn't impressed with this. I've been using it for about a week now and all it does is make my face sticky. Maybe this would work better for dry or normal skin, but it doesn't feel good on my oily skin. It's not refreshing, like most essences are, either, just kinda makes my skin a bit damp. The smell is just ok, like aloe. I dislike the mister, as well, it's too fine a spray, I have to spray way too much to actually cover my face fully, and I have to hold it really close to my face, otherwise the spray doesn't reach my skin.
Review for: Secret® Sport Fresh Soft Solid Clinical Antiperspirant & Deodorant 45 g Stick more...
This works mildly better than a basic deodorant, but it doesn't work as well as it claims. I prefer the soft solid over the clear gel or solid, as it's a nice mix of absorbing well without balling up or being too sticky. It gets all over clothes if you aren't careful. I find it only works well when I use it morning and night. I'm not a fan of the size of the bottle compared to the amount of product you actually get for the price, considering you're supposed to use two clicks worth of product, per arm, twice a day. It doesn't take very long to use it up and it's not a cheap product.
