Self-proclaimed beauty addict turned blogger (honesthues.com). I love to put products to the test and let you know what's worth it and what to pass on! I love it all- high end, drugstore, and everything in between!
This liquid lipstick formula is more comfortable than a lot of ones I’ve tried and isn’t nearly as drying on the lips. I have 2 different shades and I do think the nude shade is slightly more pigmented than the the bold shade I got. But I am obsessed with this applicator! The product collects perfectly in the hollow and the point makes it easy to line your lips with product.
This formula is pretty lightweight and creamy. It has a much more runny consistency than the Pro Matte but is much easier to work with. It gives light to medium coverage and definitely has a luminous finish. If you have combo or oily skin, definitely set this with a powder and you might also want a good mattifying primer. Would recommend this for normal to dry skin types for sure though!

The formula of this is pretty nice, especially for the price. I was so thrown off by the intense pigment! Seriously the smallest amount goes a long way with this blush so you really get your money’s worth! You do have to be careful not to go overboard with this so I don’t know that I would recommend this for beginners. Just use a light hand and you’ll get a pretty wash of color that gives a slight sheen to the skin
Got this on sale during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty. My skin has been dull lately and I was hoping this would help with that. My favorite way to use this is paired with matte foundations so it gives the skin some life back and doesn’t look so flat. It really does create a smooth base and it’s never felt oily or greasy on my throughout the day!
I was hoping this would be a solid dupe for the Butter London Lip oil even though this has different packaging. I’m not a huge fan of the brush tip applicator but it’s not terrible. This formula does feel nice on the lips and gives a nice wash of color. But it’s not nearly as hydrating as I wanted it to be.
I surprisingly really like this product and have been reaching for it a ton! I bought it as a duo with another shade but this one is my fav. This has a sponge tip applicator which isn’t bad since this formula is meant to be sheer. It gives a light wash of color to the lips but the hydration is insane! It gives my lips serious moisture and a nice sheen at the same time.
I originally got this powder as part of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale. This powder gives some coverage without looking cakey on the skin. It’s a very smooth powder and gives a natural finish. I usually use a fluffy powder brush and basically pat this into the skin to set my liquid foundation. Normally I pair this with a B.B. cream or tinted moisturizer. The biggest downfall is the shade range. Only 7 shades...really?!
Honestly I am so impressed with this product! I actually found this on discount at Marshall’s for $15. I couldn’t resist picking it up! I do find the formula to be a bit powdery in the sense that there is quite a bit of pickup when I dip my brush in the pan. Luckily that doesn’t translate at all to the face! I mainly use the first two shades since the third one is bit too glittery for my taste. Usually I mix those two shades together and apply it to the tops of my cheekbones. I don’t notice it emphasizing any of my texture or my pores. It just gives the most natural looking glow to the skin and I cannot get enough of it!
The quality of this palette is great. I originally got it for when I travel because it has contour, Highlight and eyeshadows all in super sleek packaging. I feel like my biggest gripe with this palette is the shade of the Highlight. It seems kinda ashy in the pan and always leaves a stripe on my skin- and I’m not even that light! It also seems a little glittery for my taste. I’m not sure I would purchase again...wish I would have swatches in store first!
