Double Decker Mascara. I received this in my BoxyCharm subscription and I love it. Makes my lashes thick and there’s no flaking. I haven’t seen smudges and I wear this for 12 hour work days outside. Nice big tube and the bristles on the brush separates with out any clumping.
CoverFX Shimmer Veil in the shade Amethyst. I received this in my February BoxyCharm Subscription box and am in love already. This is definitely an all in one. For eyes, lips and highlight. Blends well. -be quick when using it as highlighter is dries fast. Looks amazing on lips alone or on top of lipstick. On eyes it’s glittery, metallic and shiny perfection. No mess and super easy application. As a highlighter I feel it’s a bit glittery for me but still looks great. I dabbed a bit of Unicorn Tears highlighter from Too Faced into the corners and it goes soooo well with Shimmer Veil eyeshadow. This lasted at least 10 hours without budging. I have a cold right now and my eyes are very watery, and this still lasted at work and through out the evening.
Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun in the shade Light Bronze. Flawless natural looking colour instantly. Dries in 60 seconds. Receivedthis free from Glamsense for my opinion. I like the dispenser and how the product is easier to spread. Rather than a liquid or a lotion that can get carried away and messy the foam was easy. The scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. I only applied once and the last photo you can see in my leg up close where I purposely missed to show difference. I like how it didn’t turn my skin orange. Having pale legs and an instant tan usually means Cheeto legs. It is a nice natural glow that you can build up with more applications. Didn’t streak and actually did dry in 60 seconds so be quick. 😁. I recommend this for sure.
Wow. Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in the shade Thrasher. Such a beautiful gold colour. I show a size comparison to Sephora brand eyeshadow. This formula is amazing. Glides on like butter and stays put. The shine is gorgeous. I want Thunderstuck now and it is $15 on the Sephora app.
I bought the mini size of this for $13 CND, and it did last quite a while being so small. I like this product because it does cover up my dark purple circles. I think it may be better than Kat Von Ds Lock It Concealer. Don’t need much of the product and it doesn’t crease or cling to dry spots.
Too Faced Life’s A Festival palette. I didn’t buy this because of the packaging. I do feel that it is a bit childish and bulky. I fell in love with the colours and that’s what drew me to this crazy unicorn themed palette. I also like the names of the eyeshadows. The eyeshadows themselves are easy to blend and are very pigmented. Duo chrome, glitter, matte and pearly shimmer shades. The smell is like the candy sweet tarte’s. Mystic Rain, Young & Free, Euphoric, Fireflies and Fun in the Sun are my faves. I use glitter glue for the colours to pop.
This does make my makeup look better. Love the colour and how it blends perfectly. I also like how this has SPF that you can’t smell. I repurchase this product often since I received a sample 3 years ago.
One of my first Marc Jacobs lipsticks. I do like the formula and the colour. A satin lip cream that doesn’t last very long which is my only complaint. The formula is moisturizing and saturated colour with out highlighting lines or dry spots.
I did not enjoy this one so much. I did not find it very moisturizing for fall into winter. I was always reaching for something with more moisture after using this. This would probably be good for someone who has a very sensitive eye area. Also for someone who doesn’t need much moisture. No scent and isn’t greasy. I usually love Clinique products but unfortunately not this one.
