Review for United Airlines - 4 months, 1 week ago
Just flew from east coast to Maui. Nice flight experience overall, great crew on all legs of flights. Seat comfortable enough but that was with upgrade to premium economy (extra $130 per person on each leg of trip). so that we could get 2 extra inches of space. The Regular economy seats are just too small and should not even be offered for long flights. Also, if you pay $1500 for a round trip flight I think you deserve some food/ at least a mini meal for a 7.5 hour flight.
Review for Southwest Airlines - 4 months, 1 week ago
Great airline with reasonable fares esp if you book ahead of time. Flights run on time (unless due to weather issue) and flight attendants solid and professional. I know they started as a low fare airline but now many airlines are going no frills. I wish the cheap pretzels they give you tasted better though. It's hard to make a bad pretzel but they are bland and always taste a little stale. Maybe try a different brand!
Review for Sun Bum SPF 30 Original Spray Sunscreen - 4 months, 1 week ago
Sun Bum sunscreen is the best. Nice scent/ not sticky and good protection. I have sensitive skin and some sunscreens make little bumps on my arms but this does not do that. Spray is a fine mist and no clogs when u spray. I have repurchased this product.

Nice and light in consistency. And a fresh scent to it. I did not get any break outs from this product. Solid moisturizer and I have repurchased from m this brand. Price point not too bad. For me this worked better than La Mer which causes breakouts for me.

Review for Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - 4 months, 1 week ago

This product is no good for my acne prone skin. Even though it is named mineral primer I think it has too many dimethicone related ingredients which make my skin break out. Makeup looks great over this product but the zits after not worth it.

Review for Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer 0.35 OZ - 4 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
This product helps the shadow stay on but it is a little bit oily for me. Also it is basically translucent once applied so it does not provide any evening of uneven color or redness, etc... I prefer a primer that helps even out the skin tone/color on lid. I think this makes the shadow appear more uniform and true in color once applied.

Review for Aveda Green Science Firming Eye Creme - 5 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
I get Aveda facial sometimes and use the flash wash, toner and Soft creme daily with good result.  But I did not like this eye cream.  I don't know if it was effective but that may be because I didn't use everyday.  It has a warming sensation when I applied it to the crow's feet area. I don't like this feeling.  I thought it was just me and my sensitive skin but have seen others state they feel the 'warm' as well.   I am trying to soothe my eye area and already deal with inflammation sometimes, so I stopped using this product and tossed it out/didn't even 'donate' it to a friend to try.

Review for tarte tarteguard 30 sunscreen lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - 5 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
This sunscreen works very well for my acne prone and sensitive skin.  No stinging and if you let it sink in for a few mins looks fine under makeup.  It is white in color but no lasting whiteness for me - although I am light skinned and I wear makeup on top.  I feel like it protects my face well in the summer when I will be outside for a hour or so.  If I was going to do all day on the beach then I would go with a higher SPF product.

Review for Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré - 5 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
This product works well to moisturize hands and face.  It is soothing.  No fragrance.  My skin is very sensitive and I tend to get acne ( even at age 45) and this did not cause any problems for me. I used sparkly on my chin area where I tend to break out.  I bought this in France where the price is very reasonable - maybe $12-13.. I would pay a little more to buy online in US but would not pay over $25 or so.
