I do have quite sensitive skin (and I also use benzoyl peroxide 1-2 times daily) and this scrub was too harsh for my skin. The few times I used it, it stung badly and irritated my skin, especially around my nose. I have used plenty of other exfoliaters that worked well and didn't hurt.
I get most of my work clothes at the Limited. They regularly have really good sales, most recently 50% all full size items. If it is not in store when you are there, they ship it to you for free. Great classic suit options, plenty of appropriate dresses, and separates for days. Have you tried their fit and flare trouser jeans? You won't regret it.
This is the only lip gloss I regularly reach for. I have 18 and 19 (a baby pink and a light beige), which work great on my very fair skin and stay a very long time. I haven't tried any dark colors yet, but I expect them to be even better!
I have very long straight eye lashes. I felt like no matter what I did with this mascara (even curling my lashes before or using a primer), this mascara just straightened them back out. I used this product for about a month (to work where no one cared) but couldn't get it any better than mediocre. Too Faced Better than mascara held curl much better for me. I gave this away to my friend who loves it, and naturally has curled upward lashes.
This lip color felt nice and looked good on the lips but would not stay put at all on me. I have worn mine a few times, and after just water or coffee was practically gone. So I'm never reaching for these pencils. The bite high pigment or matte pencils are longer lasting and more comfortable.
I do not like this product very much on its own, but I have still found many used for it mixed with other products. It makes other face products easier to spread on the skin and longer lasting. I like to mix 1/2 Laura Mercier radiance primer, 1/4 CoverFX foundation (which is full coverage but not the easiest to blend out) and 1/4 FAB Mattifying Gel. For me this makes the perfect glowy light-medium coverage foundation with a natural skin finish. If you haven't tried mixing this with your other products, you are missing out! It seems to mix well with anything I have tried so far. (Bonus, it's going to last forever).
This is my favorite favorite black lipstick alternative. I like to pair non-black colors with my fair skin and hair, as I find they often read black on me. Kat Von D everlasting love lipstick is a holy grail product for me, with good wear time and great look. You really have to work hard to mess up this product after it is on!
If you haven't used this you are missing out. It is very sticky upon application, but settles onto the lips to become a long lasting balm. I prefer the champagne version, as it provides subtle shimmer and color that I really like. I use this during the daytime, especially for work, as it stays on my lips much better than a traditional Chapstick. I do not have to reapply after a cup (or three) of tea!
This eye cream REPLACES under eye concealer for my work look. It is not the most moisturizing, I find my underwear feeling somewhat dry by the end of the day (but I haven't found a miracle for that yet!). For my very fair skin, this provides the perfect bright peach correction. Love it. The picture shows my wearing Laura mercier foundation primer (which is fabulous on its own), bronzer, eyebrows, and triple duty eye cream. This is me AFTER work, and the under eyes are still going strong.
