The mask has a strange texture that would make you believe it’s super natural and good for your skin. You can literally see orange zest in the mask. I love that it has a small percentage of aha so it works not only to physically but also chemically exfoliate your skin. It leaves me looking so bright and it smelllls delicious.
I love this mask for my dry eczema prone skin. The fresh masks normally last me a month before they start To go bad. I’ve also noticed that the exfoliating properties of the mask really work to make my skin smooth and bright after each use.
This product is actually a lot better than I thought it’d be. The lightning in my room is particularly warm but it didn’t throw off the calibration of the app at all. The foundation I received matched me exactly! As far as texture and application goes, the foundation is more of a gel like consistency, similar to a water foundation like the makeup forever water blend, just slightly thicker. It won’t drip down your hand the same way more liquidy foundations do. I’m assuming that this consistency is what makes the foundation relatively sheer, it’s definitely light to medium coverage with a dewy finish. I love it for every day! bareMinerals MADE-2-FIT Fresh Faced Liquid Foundation
I’m not a huge fan of protein bars but this one tasted fine to me. It was too sweet for my liking, and I’m concerned about the amount of sugar that’s in the bar. It was grainy like most protein bars and that’s to be expected. If you’re into more sugary bars then this is good for you.
I'm SOOOO in love with this cleansing balm because of 3 things. 1. The packaging is adorable and so ~~~ aesthetically pleasing ~~~ . It also comes with a little spatula and a top that holds the spatula for sanitary reasons. And that matters, right? 2. The price point is so right. I couldn't bring myself to pay for the clinique or it cosmetics cleansing balms because I knew that there were such cheaper alternatives and why would I spend that much on a makeup remover right? Well I'm pretty sure that the heimish balm is like half the price of the other two mentioned and works just as well, if not better. 3. It just does its job. I find that after massaging it into my face and then using water to get it to emulsify, it does so while developing a slight foam I find and it just works. On especially heavy makeup days, I go in with the heimish clay cleanser after and then tone/moisturize and my skin is literally brand new and so happy. It's so extremely gentle and has never burned my eyes or irritated my skin. It also has a slight herbal scent that some may hate or love but I'm indifferent towards that aspect because everything else works just so well.
I feel like for the quality of OPI nail polish, it's pretty overpriced. I'm not a huge fan of the brush, I much prefer the wetnwild brushes because they're broader and flat, which allow for ease of application whereas the opi/essie brushes are skinny and make it difficult for even application. I like being able to apply one coat in 1-2 swipes but that's just personal preference. I also found that this color chipped on my quicker than my other nail polishes from wetnwild. Although the color is extremely cute, I find that overall the ease of application is off putting to me.
I am OBSESSED with this oil. I actually could never bring myself to pay full price for it but during ulta's 21 days of beauty sale, this oil was one of those items that were on a special sale and so I got it for half the price. It's a bit of a heavy oil, however it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy at all. If you don't really like heavier oils, I'd maybe cut it with a very lightweight oil and apply it in conjunction with that oil. However, being that I have pretty dry skin, I didn't mind it at all. I love applying this when I feel like especially pampering my face, or when I don't feel like putting on a moisturizer. I love using this before bed because I feel like I go to bed with super glowy skin and I wake up with soft supple skin.
I LOVE THIS MOISTURIZER. 1. It smells citrusy, which I love in any facial product. Citrusy scents and light coconut scents are my favorite. 2. I found that it might actually work well as a primer. It has a similar consistency to the hangover primer, where it might even be a little more gel like than the hangover. I felt like it left your skin feeling smooth with this pleasant residue(?) for lack of better words. It felt as if you primed your face with a very hydrating primer essentially which at first I wasn't a fan of but then grew to love. I also found that it left the slightest healthy sheen on your face after application and made your face look glowy. My skincare regiment consisted only of a simple cleanser, the body shop drops of youth essence that I can't get enough of, and this moisturizer and my skin literally has never looked better. I had friends and family telling me my skin looked amazing so DEF recommend. I'm almost finished with the jar too.
I really like this lotion because of the fact that it has a physical spf. However, I find that it leaves the SLIGHTEST white cast which I don't think would be noticeable for anyone with a fair-light medium skin tone. However, I'm pretty far down the medium skintone spectrum so the white cast showed up just a little bit. Despite that, i found that it blended well and didn't leave any weird white crustiness around my hairline. However, I did find that if you applied too much of the product, it would pill up on you. That was my only gripe about the product but overall it's a good lotion.
