Living and working in the city of Chicago! Mom of two boys and two cats. I love to travel the world and take my kids with me. I love wine and eating at new restaurants, but also love a good greasy burger too. I grew up in England where the rest of my family live, so visit often. I love make-up, travel, food, wine and music.
I love babylips. So many fun colors to choose from and they are SPF 16 too. I love wearing this when I just need a tint of color in my lips and some extra moisturizer too. The price is great, it's not drying and there are a range of colors to suit all tastes. I recommend this brand and my favorite color Orange Bur.
Not really a fan of this lip care. It felt super sticky, almost like a lip gloss but stickier. I kept getting my hair stuck on my lips, and it was super annoying. I'm not going to recommend this product, but I do generally love Nivea products so I was disappointed.
Gosh, where do I start with the Rosebud Perfume lip balms. First, the packaging. It looks so nice, and old timey. I love it. I have received free samples of most of the tube flavors and a couple of the tins. Personally I prefer the tins, but the tubes are easier to carry around in your purse and they're less messy to apply. I love the smell, texture, taste of all these lip balms, but my favorite has to be the mocha. Who doesn't love chocolate.
I like Aquaphor products, however I felt that this product seemed almost too greasy on my lips and didn't seem to last very long. I do like that this was neutral tasting and had no real smell to it, although I don't think this is any more effective than just using vaseline on your lips. Ok though, not amazing.
Seriously you can't go wrong with the classics. I love the cherry and the mint of the classics. The Chapstick brand are cheap, effective and they taste great. I will usually stock up on these as I tend to go though a lot of lipbalm, as do my kids and husband. Highly recommend this brand and this flavor too.
I first discovered this lipbalm moisturizer as a free sample. I was addicted. It goes on super smooth and creamy and seems to penetrate into my skin. It seems to last a lot longer than other lip balms too and it doesn't feel over drying on my skin. It smells a little sweet but not too sickly either. I love this lip balm, and it's one of my essentials that I keep in me at all times.
Perfect lipbalm in that it's a stick, tastes pleasant and it's a good price. It goes on well, doesn't seem to irritate and moisturizes my lips pretty well. However, it doesn't seem as creamy as a lot of other brands and it also doesn't seem to last as long either. However, for the price and effectiveness, it's pretty good.
I actually really like this stick and it's small enough that you can keep it anywhere. It's also small enough that your kid can apply it themselves if they want. It doesn't smell, it's not too expensive and it goes on pretty well. I can usually find it easily in the store too and it seems to last a while.
I love that you can get a mineral sunscreen in a spray, but this stuff only works as a spray when you apply it for the first few times. The bottle constantly gets clogged so you end up opening the bottle then applying it on your child with your hands. The formula is thin, and I feel only effective really in lower UV conditions or in the shade better than in higher UV conditions. It's fine, not the best sunscreen.
