Review for Kiss Gel Fantasy Nail Kit, Medium Length, 60667 Freshen Up, 51 pc - 3 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I had to rave about these  Kiss "press on/gel look" nails:  have I got a testimony for YOU! First off let me explain why I got these: I had gel nails professionally done every 3 weeks for about 2 months. My nail beds were weakened and compromised by the multiple fills so by the time my outgrowth had reached 2 months the tips were just breaking off one after the other in a span of 2 weeks time. So I soaked them all off and was due to get a fresh set and start anew.
I decided that my nails just need a break..problem with that is I am a beauty industry professional and I have to have my nails looking impeccable because 100% of the time I am using my hands on my clients faces and showing products to them with my hands.I always receive compliments on my professional manicures but would you believe I got triple the compliments when I wore these nails from Kiss!!--AND every single.person. thought they were real.
Here is what shocked even me about the quality--
I am a hairstylist: shampooing clients up to 5 times daily. I wear gloves when applying color (creates moisture in the hands)These nails did not I repeat did not budge after 5 days of working on clients..what is this glue made of?? Whatever it is you can count on these nails lasting you and not popping off.
Before I attempted the glue I tried the adhesive which I knew right away was not strong enough.
The adhesive is not as strong but I kept those in my pocket in case one came off (which they never did)I highly recommend these as a quick or temporary solution to manicured nails in a pinch, just take your time and apply them well. A fresh manicure before application helps them to look seamless!

Review for Lancôme La Base Pro Perfecting Makeup Primer - 3 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This primer is incredible and luxurious feeling on my skin. I work in the beauty industry and most recently have been receiving random compliments on how "natural" my makeup looks. I wear the same base and eye,lip products the only thing I recently switched up was this Lancome primer after a recommendation from a co-worker. I can only attribute this to specifically this product!
You only need the teeniest amount of product to cover your entire face so do not be heavy handed with it. I am so pleased that in addition to loving everything about this I have had zero adverse skin reactions. Once the window of possible skin problems closed I immediately purchased it, no regrets. It is expensive but I opted for the smaller size offered in the $20 range, little easier on my wallet and I genuinely believe that it will last me a very long time. There is nothing like it I can compare to consistency-wise.

Review for: 3.5, 5.5 more...
I really enjoyed how smooth this foundation was but it oxidized quickly and accentuated my fine lines and pores :( regretfully I can't see myself switching over to this foundation or have any plans of using it again in the future. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with dry skin. The overall finish is matte, the coverage wears away after 2 hours and it doesn't leave a natural look, it is splotchy and uneven in the overall dried down finish.

Review for belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb - 7 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Nothing special stuck out to me about this moisturizer. It has a very thin consistency but it melts right into the skin and doesn't leave a tacky residue. The next morning I was expecting supple intensely hydrated skin, however that wasn't the case in my experience.
I have tried moisturizers boasting of similar claims as belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb does (increase long lasting hydration) but those other products actually delivered on the results.
At its current price point I think there is better out there if intense hydration is what your after. I do have normal - sensitive skin and noticed some minor irritation after using this product.

I found out about this product from influenster in an article that they had on the website recently and when I finally found them in store which I found mine and Target I had to check it out because I feel like this is a really convenient product for someone who's really busy or doesn't want their deodorant taking up a lot of space in their bag or their gym bag and this is definitely a great size for that it's easy to twist on and off and it securely closes so you don't have to worry about the product falling apart are getting in your bag and making a mess or anything like that I like how it's lightweight and it's pretty packaging and it's the secret formula so you know it works really great!!
Review for e.l.f. Beautifully Precise Powder Brush - 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This is the perfect brush for dusting off translucent powder! It is also wonderful for putting a light wash of bronze all over the face to warm it up.
Not only that it's a time saver,--let us be real you get a whole lotta brush here! This allows you to make it a one sweep and your done kinda product! This brush is soft and fluffy it's hard to believe that you can pick this up most drugstores!
I paid $12 I think that is a excellent value for the kind of quality you get from the sleek handle to the ultra soft hairs it's a beautiful product and unique as well. I don't have any other brushes I can compare it to but shockingly the (softness) of this brush reminds me of the  Marc Jacobs Beauty The Bronze - Bronzer Brush No. 12  which I believe comes in at around $70 !

Review for Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Butter Bronzer - 7 months, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Review for: Sunkissed Bronzer more...
I recently went back to this bronzer after using a high-end bronzer for a couple of years and realizing that this bronzer is just as good as that one if not better. This product is very buttery, easy to blend into the skin. If you choose sun kissed: it's a nice light bronze color. I have purchased the deeper tone and it was too deep for me borderline orangie--- a lot of people ask if it's muddy in color or if it's orangey oompa and I have to say the Sunkissed color is not like that at all the Sunkissed color is a true bronze color that you can build up by blending gradually.
I love that this has some flecs of shimmer but it's not glittery and it's not fake or cheap looking at all it looks like a high-end formula and it feels like a high-end formula!
I haven't even got to the best part which is how it smells: it smells like a beachy almost a coconut smell: it's very light and unique it's not like anything else I can compare it to fragrance wise It is its own fragrance. When I smell that fragrance I know that's the butter bronzer fragrance it's that unique!
If you have never purchased a bronzer before this is a really good one to start with because of the formula. Sometimes when you get foundation that's a little bit lighter than you expected.. using bronzer is a great way to warm up the color in betwen shades.

Review for Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette - 8 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Review for: Copper Peach more...
My first impressions of Pixi eyeshadows are unfortunately not very good I love the colors and the Shimmer but they just are not easy to blend and there's a lot of fall out with them. Each shadow is very sparkly or glittery on the skin not a nice even sheen. If you have mature skin like me in my opinion it is not a flattering look. I would however recommend this brand if you're just starting out in makeup and you want to practice eyeshadow looks, these formulas are so sheer and underpigmented that you really can't make any harsh lines etc. I swatched two colors in my demo to show the performance of these eye shadows. Once with fingers and once with a brush. I really had to dig into the eyeshadow to get that kind of pigment. Using the brush it was just very messy. I wasn't able to pick up any color without a lot of Fallout (messy!).
