Review for belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb - 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Nothing special stuck out to me about this moisturizer. It has a very thin consistency but it melts right into the skin and doesn't leave a tacky residue. The next morning I was expecting supple intensely hydrated skin, however that wasn't the case in my experience.
I have tried moisturizers boasting of similar claims as belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb does (increase long lasting hydration) but those other products actually delivered on the results.
At its current price point I think there is better out there if intense hydration is what your after. I do have normal - sensitive skin and noticed some minor irritation after using this product.

I found out about this product from influenster in an article that they had on the website recently and when I finally found them in store which I found mine and Target I had to check it out because I feel like this is a really convenient product for someone who's really busy or doesn't want their deodorant taking up a lot of space in their bag or their gym bag and this is definitely a great size for that it's easy to twist on and off and it securely closes so you don't have to worry about the product falling apart are getting in your bag and making a mess or anything like that I like how it's lightweight and it's pretty packaging and it's the secret formula so you know it works really great!!
Review for e.l.f. Beautifully Precise Powder Brush - 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This is the perfect brush for dusting off translucent powder! It is also wonderful for putting a light wash of bronze all over the face to warm it up.
Not only that it's a time saver,--let us be real you get a whole lotta brush here! This allows you to make it a one sweep and your done kinda product! This brush is soft and fluffy it's hard to believe that you can pick this up most drugstores!
I paid $12 I think that is a excellent value for the kind of quality you get from the sleek handle to the ultra soft hairs it's a beautiful product and unique as well. I don't have any other brushes I can compare it to but shockingly the (softness) of this brush reminds me of the  Marc Jacobs The Bronze - Bronzer Brush  which I believe comes in at around $70 !

Review for Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Butter Bronzer - 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
Review for: Sunkissed Bronzer more...
I recently went back to this bronzer after using a high-end bronzer for a couple of years and realizing that this bronzer is just as good as that one if not better. This product is very buttery, easy to blend into the skin. If you choose sun kissed: it's a nice light bronze color. I have purchased the deeper tone and it was too deep for me borderline orangie--- a lot of people ask if it's muddy in color or if it's orangey oompa and I have to say the Sunkissed color is not like that at all the Sunkissed color is a true bronze color that you can build up by blending gradually.
I love that this has some flecs of shimmer but it's not glittery and it's not fake or cheap looking at all it looks like a high-end formula and it feels like a high-end formula!
I haven't even got to the best part which is how it smells: it smells like a beachy almost a coconut smell: it's very light and unique it's not like anything else I can compare it to fragrance wise It is its own fragrance. When I smell that fragrance I know that's the butter bronzer fragrance it's that unique!
If you have never purchased a bronzer before this is a really good one to start with because of the formula. Sometimes when you get foundation that's a little bit lighter than you expected.. using bronzer is a great way to warm up the color in betwen shades.

Review for Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette - 1 month, 4 weeks ago

Review for: Copper Peach more...
My first impressions of Pixi eyeshadows are unfortunately not very good I love the colors and the Shimmer but they just are not easy to blend and there's a lot of fall out with them. Each shadow is very sparkly or glittery on the skin not a nice even sheen. If you have mature skin like me in my opinion it is not a flattering look. I would however recommend this brand if you're just starting out in makeup and you want to practice eyeshadow looks, these formulas are so sheer and underpigmented that you really can't make any harsh lines etc. I swatched two colors in my demo to show the performance of these eye shadows. Once with fingers and once with a brush. I really had to dig into the eyeshadow to get that kind of pigment. Using the brush it was just very messy. I wasn't able to pick up any color without a lot of Fallout (messy!).

Review for BECCA X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
I was so excited when I first originally got my hands on this because I felt like I would be using so many of the products in this collection. But in the end the only ones I really use a lot of was: champagne pop and the prosecco pop highlighters. The Rose Spritz blush was way too pigmented and gave me that clown effect even if I went in with a light hand. The Amarillo Blush was way too dark hard to blend. Originally I thought for sure that at the very least it was going to be a blush that I could use to contour with and that wasn't the case at all. The pamplemousse blush was similar to the Rose Spritz blush and again it was just way too pigmented and very difficult to blend it's not something I've ever even seen Jaclyn talk about in any of her reviews, favorites or any special mentions on how good those blushes are on her channel at all!
Obviously champagne pop is something she enjoys and created It is the standout product out of this whole palette. Prosecco pop was also really nice as well.
If it had just been a Duo this would have been an amazing product but the fact that you get 2 really nice quality highlighters and then 3 (in my opinion) not very good quality blushes makes it not as worthwhile.
I've had this product for a few years and I recently dropped it once it was dropped it got destroyed Rose Spritz completely shattered. The other blushes and the two highlighters were fine but the compact is unusable because the hinges are now broken. So definitely take care with this palette and do your best to not drop it!!

Review for Dove Advanced Hair Series Regenerative Nourishment Conditioner - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This conditioner from Dove is for damage and over-processed hair and it has red algae complex in it. This conditioner smells so amazing in my opinion I love products that can help me minimize any of the damage that has resulted from me coloring my hair this one is very nourishing and conditioning just as the name suggests!
The consistency and the scent remind me of the conditioners that I would get in boxed color hair dye...if you're familiar with those your hair always feels so soft and so smooth after using them.

Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This is a shampoo and conditioner that is formulated with Organic ingredients and has a repairing blend of strengthening coconut and soy protein barrage seed oil and shine enhancing organic aloe and organic grape juices.
The coconuts scent is really light and  fresh I'm not so sure about the shiny hair claims. What I like is it is filled with good for you ingredients so I feel good about using it it's just not my favorite shampoo to use.

Review for Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This palette did not disappoint me like subculture did. It is that same incredibley buttery formula we all know and love from Modern Renaissance, there are even some shades from the Modern Ren Palette: Cypress Umber, Burnt Ornage and Tempera.
I think this one is for the fans in all honesty because you could totally replicate most looks using colors from other palettes that have almost exact or similar shades as this one. The only shade that really stood out to me as something different from anything I have (and I have a shameful amount of palettes) was DUSTY ROSE it's a mix between lilac and deep rose color but that is just ONE SHADE!
I spotted many similar colors in the  [product:morphe-x-jaclyn-hill-eyeshadow-palette-12] 13/14 similar to be exact! So my recommendation is if you already own the Jaclyn Palette you have many similar shades in that palette as Soft Glam.
There has been a lot said about this being the ultimate bridal eyeshadow palette.... and you know what I couldn't agree with that more! It is absolutely curated perfectly for that. As a beauty industry professional myself I will be recommending this palette for my brides and bridesmaids as well as prom and homecoming clients. These colors have the kind of softness and timeless color palette for anyone's big day or glamorous affair. They can also be used realistically for everyday looks ranging from natural daytime to smoked out evening glam.

Review for Honest Beauty Everything Primer - 2 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 4
This primer lasted me through a 12 hour day, the only makeup that moved was my under eye  area which I didn't apply this primer to because I wasn't sure if it would exaggerate my fine lines or not.
It has a slight tint to it which I loved because it's winter and my skin is paler this little boost of tone really created a flawless and even base for me. The flecks of shimmer are light so you don't have to worry about glitter face at all it's very subtle but it LOVES I repeat LOVES light. When light catches this primer it is stunning truly.
The scent is a bit odd but I didn't notice it after application had set. I would not recommend using a lot of this just a little bit goes a very long way (less than a pea size amount)
It looks nice on bare skin and even better under makeup. I included a photo of my skin at the end of the day after using this primer I personally love it! Great value too at under $30
