I bought a pack of these hoping for a cheaper or better alternative to the delicious Sour Patch Watermelon Slices. From the price standpoint these are definitely cheaper than the Sour Patch variety. However, the flavor and texture are significantly worse. They lack the "chewiness" advertised on the packaging and instead immediately devolve to a sticky paste in your mouth that will gum up your teeth almost immediately. Flavor-wise, they lack the critical balance of sweet and sour that other candy depends on. These watermelon slices almost have a chemical, bitter quality to them that leaves a terrible aftertaste.
As someone who typically has no problem with store-brand candy I was hugely disappointed in this product. Going forward, I will definitely be paying the little extra to get the actual Sour Patch watermelons which are far better than this knock-off in nearly every single regard.
This is a good product that keeps your hair coiffed without the dreaded crackly helmet-head. While the hold is not very strong (there are other products in the Old Spice line that are better suited for willful hair), it's perfect for gently coercing your hair into a neat look. I typically use it right after the shower when my hair is wet as that seems to work the best for me.
Smell-wise, I'll admit it's not my favorite. I haven't found it comparable to any of the other smells in the Old Spice line-up but it's alright. I've been told it smells great by others though.
The one downside I've discovered while using this is it tends to dry out my hair pretty badly. As a result I am planning to try another brand (Tea Tree or Bed Head have been recommended to me) but if the issue persists with other pastes I'll probably come back to Old Spice Spiffy.
One of the weirdest and best candies I've found. Whenever I find them (which is not that often) I buy a bag and usually finish it within the hour. The texture is unique and awesome. Don't buy these expecting jelly beans since these have a gummy interior, not a chewy one. That's what makes these special and oh so tasty. They pack a hefty bunch into each bag so you absolutely get your money's worth.
This is definitely one of the best scents produced by Old Spice. Timber is an apt name as it features subtle hints of pine with a strong, masculine scent. This is my deodorant/antiperspirant of choice and my girlfriend approves.
