It's a fun little mask, but that's where it ends. The tingles are SO itchy that it was unbearable by the time I wiped it off! The smell isn't great... It smells like something that definitely shouldn't be on your face. The packet is impossible to get the product out of easily and without making a huge mess. It does leave my skin feeling soft, but I think that's the default "this mask didn't REALLY do anything" feeling. A friend gave this to me, so luckily I didn't spend money on it. If you want a bubble mask, go for the e.l.f. Cosmetics Clarifying Charcoal Bubble Mask instead. It's more expensive but it feels like it's actually doing something for your skin!
The formula of this is really great! It feels very silky and not greasy. The scent however is NOT for me! It's way too floral, which I just hate on myself. I'll try one of their other scents for sure! This size is a great value for $4 as well, although I got mine as a gift with purchase at Ulta.
So, I used this the same way I use the original Translucent Setting Powder. I use a damp Real Techniques sponge, and set my undereye concealer and also take a bit onto the rest of my face to set. This Glow version has a little more limited use! I put this on my undereyes and immediately and audibly said "oh no" because this powder's champagne tint made my undereyes look jaundice. My tween sister even said, "why do your eyes look so yellow?" Oops. Under eye area aside, this is BEAUTIFUL on the rest of the face. Beautiful and glowing but not glittery.
I love this product but I hate the price tag! $47 for foundation is too crazy. But the product itself is gorgeous. This gives me medium coverage with a radiant finish. It looks so skin-like and never cakes up on me. I love the pump packaging as well. I don't really love that it has sunscreen, but most of my foundations do so I can look past it.
I love these little guys! Not only are some of my favorite fragrances from Bath and Body, but having them in a hand sanitizer is awesome. I have these in my purse, in my makeup desk, and I even had one in a drawer at work. As a sanitizer, they're not super drying but leave my hands feeling clean. The scent isn't overpowering. There's so many to choose from, they're affordable. You really can't go wrong with these. One of my favorites is Black Cherry Merlot, and I love the men's scents Ocean and Noir. Dazzling Diamond used to be my favorite but in typical B&BW fashion it was discontinued. These are perfect for gift giving, too!
I experimented with these on a few different types of acne on my face: one that was just barely a Whitehead, one right under the surface of the skin and a very deep cystic acne spot. Before getting into how the patches worked, I want to mention that these things stayed on SO well! I'm a rough sleeper. I roll around, mash my face into the pillow, and at one point scratched right where a patch was before remembering it was there, and they all remained exactly where I placed them. The next morning on the newly sprouted Whitehead: the Whitehead was much larger and obviously drawn up to the surface more. There was quite a bit of gunk on the patch, but the spot was still there. I'm wondering if this would have worked better had I popped it first. Secondly the pimple right under the surface was brought to a head, and this patch had a little less gunk, but had still done something. On the cyst not much of a difference was made... And there was a teeny bit of stuff on the patch that I think was just some dead skin it had peeled up.
Overall, these things definitely shorten the lifespan of my acne. If you've got agressive, all over acne (like myself) I don't think these are the best investment as you'd be going through them quickly. But for here and there pimples, these work like a charm. Plus, they're cheap.
Avoid this if you have pale skin. Actually, just avoid this lol. It looks completely yellow when applied to the skin... Not brightening at all, just straight up yellow! The texture of this powder is soft, silky and light feeling but I looked sick with this powder on my skin. I didn't even keep it on, so I can't attest to any wear time or creasing. It's just not good.
Review for: FENTY GLOW SHIMMERING ROSE NUDE, DIAMOND MILK SHIMMERING PEARL more...
I bought Diamond Milk on a HUGE whim after hearing Thomas Halbert speak about the original gloss. I didn't think I'd like the color of the Fenty Glow shade. Anyway once I got Diamond Milk and tried it, immediately ordered the other shade! The texture is UNREAL. It's like the most nourishing balm feeling, melted into a glimmery, shiny lipgloss. And it smells like sweet-tarts! This is absolutely amazing. I 100% recommend this!
This lipstick is a cult classic and hits all the marks for me: I love a deep dark red, it's comfortable, doesn't look or feel drying, and it's affordable. You can't go wrong with a bullet lipstick either, because it's easy to apply. I like to layer this with a gloss as well to give it some glassy shine.
