I received this product complimentary in a VoxBox campaign. First impression--packaging and bottle were very appealing and I love that it's non-toxic, which is why COOLA has been one of my go-to sun protection brands for several years. Years ago, I bought a hair/scalp sunscreen spray and it made my hair super greasy and I haven't used one since. Sometimes though, my scalp will get burnt so I was really excited to try this out in hopes that it would be what I needed--and it is! Not greasy at all, pleasant smell, and provides great protection. I lent this to my mother for a vacation--she is in her early 60's and suffering from thinning hair due to alopecia areata (some targeted hair-loss)--and she absolutely loved it. I think she may have already ordered a bottle. Anyway, I highly recommend this product and will continue to use it!
I received this product complimentary in a VoxBox and let me just say that as soon as I run out of this bottle I will be purchasing a bottle because I don't want to be without it. I've been using these drops for about 3 weeks now and I love everything about them. When I first received it in the mail I was immediately impressed with the packaging, and I really like the bottle and the dropper. It makes it nearly impossible to use too much (as you might if you just poured it out of a bottle). A little bit goes a long way so it's nice to have the dropper so that you can control how much you dispense. "Silk" is an appropriate title because the drops feel so smooth and silky on my skin. Not too heavy, not oily at all. It provides the protection against the sun that I need, and I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it protects against digital exposure as well. I sit in front of a computer all day at work, so this is a concern of mine. Another important thing to me is the ingredients and these pass my test with flying colors. NOTHING toxic. The scent isn't my favorite but it's certainly not unpleasant and it's almost not even worth mentioning. Love this product. Thanks COOLA and Influenster! COOLA Organic SPF 30 Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops
This is my favorite soap ever-- My mom always buys it in bulk so it's what I used growing up and now I buy it in bulk for my household. It smells so good and leaves my skin feeling great. It's a little expensive for bar soap, but I definitely think it's worth the price. Other soaps are just not the same as Crabtree & Evelyn.
I started buying this product years ago when the Ritz Carlton had it as the moisturizer in the rooms there. It smells SO GOOD and SO FRESH. I don't use it all over my body generally because it is pretty heavily scented and I like just a hint of fragrance. I generally apply it to my arms and chest in place of perfume because perfume tends to be a little too strong for me and this is just right. It's also pretty expensive so using it sparingly makes the most sense to me.
I've been using this creme on and off for years and I always go back to it because everything else I try makes my hair look "crunchy" or doesn't last long enough. I have really fine but curly hair. I either straighten it or wear it curly and this is what I use when I wear it curly. It helps tame the frizz and gives my hair just enough hold without giving it the hard crunchy look. Recommend 100%!
This is the only hairspray I use because it doesn't have that strong hairspray scent and it doesn't leave my hair stiff. It has a light fresh scent and it provides just the right hold for a casual look. I definitely recommend--I'm probably on my 10th bottle now.
I've been using this powder since high school (over 10 years) and there's nothing like it. It is so fine and light and has the most pleasant light fragrance. I've recently been looking into makeup products with non-toxic chemicals and this is the only product I refuse to switch from. I don't think I'll ever be able to give it up.
This is one of my favorite sunscreens because it feels really light and non-sticky. It's pretty pricey, but when you compare its ingredients to those of big-box sunscreens it's a no-brainer. My only complaint is that you only get a few uses out of each bottle.
I actually don't use the "light" shade of this product, I use the "classic" but couldn't find it to review. This is a German product I've been getting from my aesthetician for over 10 years. It's basically a concealer that also treats blemishes--so it doesn't clog pores and cause more blemishes. I used to use it only for spot treatment of blemishes in place of concealer, but now I use it all over my face under my powder because I find that my skin stays clearer when I use it in place of foundation. It's a little pricey but well worth it. A little bit goes a long way. Highly recommend!!
