I'm a book and short story author, blogger, essayist, historian, game master, panelist, educator, and reviewer. I've earned a PhD in ancient history, folklore, and gender/sexuality. I volunteer teach at a university museum and for two communication committees for local socio political groups where I reside. I live in a non-traditional family and devote myself to managing all of us and writing part-time.
Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar is the chocolate bar that I grew up with. As an adult, I'm not as much a fan of it because I find it a bit too sweet for my taste. I have become a bigger fan of their darker chocolate though it barely qualifies as "dark" by my standards. Nonetheless it is actually chocolate that uses basic ingredients without added oils or fats like some candy bar companies substitute out of cocoa butter.
In general I find that the streaming service from Netflix is very adequate in terms of providing me with both entertainment and education. I do wish more of the shows were on streaming since I found that I just wasn't using the disc service enough to maintain it. Their original series are quite varied and I have several I watch by myself as well as with my hubby or the rest of my family. Considering that I watch at least an hour of Netflix programming several days a week, the price is very reasonable. Think about it. I could go to the movie theater once with my family or get Netflix and see a dozen movies and tv series for less each month.
I really loved this series but we started watching it late. Why? A lot of my friends who are survivors of different types of abuse warned me that it could be triggering. Plus my hubby has limited time available to watch new series and he wanted to watch it with me. I think most of the actors in season one did a good job of embodying these well-known super heroes and people their interact with. Jessica Jones has a lot of emotional baggage and therefore the slower pace of that season made a lot of sense. I hope season two is a bit quicker. No, we haven't started season 2 yet.
This is one of my family member's favorite finished baked good so we always have at least in our pantry. I or he try to buy it whenever we find it on sale. In the beginning we followed the directions but now we play fast and loose to create new types of treats in different shapes. Like most Krusteaz mixes, this is high quality and always works.
Always works well without over drying my skin. Gentle on my sensitive skin. Easy to find in local stores where I live like Kroger, CVS, and Target. Odorless which is important to me in general but also because my break-out I treat with it are near my nose about 50% of the time.
This tastes exactly like what I expected -- milk chocolate with the white cream from Oreos and pieces of crushed up Oreos in it. Milka has done a good job of combining their chocolate with Oreos. Note that Milka chocolate is very creamy so this is a very creamy and sweet tasting bar.
My family loves mint Oreos but I worry about us eating too much sugar, fat, and calories. I've found the these thin versions and they are just as minty and chocolate as the regular ones. Warning: these are only better for you health if you don't eat more of these than you would the regular sized ones. That's a challenge for me with my family.
I got this for my birthday a couple of years ago but haven't colored any pages yet. Why! The pages are two-sided which limits which medium you can use to color with without bleeding through and damaging the images on the other side. Also some images are two pages wide and would need to be put together to fully enjoy what you've colored. Very disappointing.
This makes the skin on my lips very soft. It also moisturizers my lips all day long which means that I don't use as much product as with other lip balms. I like that buying it helps support a company that cares about our planet and life on it.
