I’m the worst at remembering to use a base coat. I find it tedious enough to get my two coats of polish on without scuffing them. I was a Julep Maven (monthly subscriber) for about 7 years and received this in one of my boxes years ago. I haven’t really ever cross compared base coats and don’t often wear nail staining colours so I can’t speak much about how it compares to other base coats. I will be trying to use it more as part of my at home manicures.
I flew Lufthansa on two different occasions when I was in high school for our annual March Break trip to Europe (from Toronto, Canada). I remember the first flight had the under belly washrooms which we all thought was super cool. Had no issues at all.
My boyfriend and I flew Porter last year February from Toronto to Newark on a trip to NYC. We arrived early and were automatically given the option of the next available flight which was hours before our scheduled one. This also proved a blessing when we were flying home 4 days later, my boyfriend was quite ill & we showed up to ask about an earlier flight home and got it. The tea and biscuit bar was nice first thing in the morning as well in Toronto.
I like being able to do my taxes at home as I have a very straight forward/basic need. It is easy to use and helps get refunds where possible. When you are finished you are able to review all inputted information & see your estimated return!
I’m terrible at keeping up with using products like this but it’s one that I come back to even just for a boost of moisture. I’m going to start using it on my boyfriend’s stretch marks to give it a run for it’s money.
I'm not someone who is mascara loyal - my favourite one was discontinued years ago & there is always a new one coming out.
I found this to be a little more wet in formula & therefore it globs up on my lashes. I felt that it got a little less wet with using it but I find more often than not my lashes clump together which is not a look I'm into. On several occasions I've had to brush through with a lash comb to separate them. I don't really have time for that on a daily basis.
Once it is on my lashes I find that I have more length to them but not sure I would define it as a volumizing mascara. There is a thickening look to the lashes but that's what ends up clumping them so once I brush through I lose a lot of that volume.
Some days I don't have an issue with it if I'm mindful of scraping off excess product & it will look good, other days like today one of my lash lines was in three thick clumps.
My go to daily makeup is lipstick and mascara & I don't think this will be one I reach for that often.
