I had a mini of the Troublemaker and it was a disaster. I was expecting to get a few weeks of use but hardly made it two *days*. I don't have any kind of sensitivity with my skin or eyes but something in this, some kind of fume, went right into my eyes and stung and made them really water immediately after use. Bad batch maybe? As for the performance of this once I got past the miserable eye irritation, it looked like I had *LESS* eyelashes even with many applications. HOW???
The Black Tea Kombucha facial essence was a completely extra and unnecessary step (I have oily, mature skin). No idea what it was supposed to do, but at least it did no harm. Finished and gone. Slight sour scent, as would be expected. Left a minor film on my face. Didn't impact on my makeup worn on top but just din't seems of any use.
This was a fine primer, the kind I could use almost like a BB cream for 'no makeup days' since it's slightly tinted but I still prefer my Dr. Brant Pores No More. But if you don't like that primer, try this one- no scent, no 'tingling', and less thick (more gel like). Both a great for oily skin and one of my more favorite backup primers.
I received a tube sample of this from BirchBox (good for about 1-2 uses depending on how much you use). The product was fine and worked as expected but for the price, I feel you could get better for less (ex Origins has a very similar product). I also think the pot for the full size is a poor idea since it would dry out so fast. I would use again if I got another sample, but I would not rebuy.
My hair (thin, frizzy) really needed more hydration. This was absolutely a drug store hair care product- fine but not really going to add any benefit. Positive, the scent was light enough to not really say with you.
This is my holy grail, so much so, I was in a near panic when it was recalled and off the shelf and have bought two drug store dupes to try. I haven't seen if the formula has changed with the reformation but I do plan on rebuying once I am done with my dupe backups.
I have naturally thick eyebrows and this product adds just enough color and structure to to them to enhance their natural beauty without overwhelming them. Thick formula (not too liquid). Happy to see that they have expanded the color range in the new reformulation.
Love this line and got a 10 mL sample as part of a $20 kit from Sephora (I highly recommend this kit as a fantastic value and way to try a lot of products). I prefer to use this first thing under my primer/ makeup. Hydrating and seeps well into the skin. Very light, slightly medicinal scent. Worked well with my oily skin, providing hydration without too much extra dewiness.
I have oily skin and prefer a 'natural' foundation coverage. paired this with the MUFE foundation. This is very thick, slippy primer which worked very well with my MUFE foundation (no pilling) but I wish it had a better applicator: it has this very narrow nozzle, which might be great for mixing with other products and having a lot of control when you squeeze out, but it just feels very limiting (this if for the .5 mL size). Would consider rebuying as my currently 2nd favorite primer.
