Hello! I am constantly reviewing all products that I have tried or use religiously. I enjoy buying and trying: food, household products, toiletries, dog products, clothing, and most of all-MAKEUP and beauty products! I write honest, thorough reviews and prefer Cruelty Free products!
For the price- this is the best bubble bath ever made! You get a 34 ounce bottle for around $5!!! It lasts forever; especially since you only have to put like two Cap fulls per one bath and it makes so much bubbles. And good quality bubbles too!! I always purchase the Lavender scent and buy them when they’re on promotion at Ulta buy one get one half off. Also, you can use their coupons so I’ve been able to get these for about $3 most times I restock! I love all Dr. Teal’s products- I’ve used their bath soaks, essential oils, and body wash. Always amazing, always fair priced, and sold virtually everywhere. I just saw Target came out with travel sizes too!! I love taking bubble baths most evenings and the Lavender really helps my body wind down and allows me to get drowsy before bed. It’s very calming, and the smell permeates through my entire bathroom. I was so excited when I tested it out on my four year old and he didn’t have any irritation either! I use it on both of our baths with no issue. If you want an inexpensive bubble bath that’s calming, smells incredible, and actually bubbles up well, this is the one for you! Dr. Teal’s is cruelty free and made in the USA as well! 5!!!
Review for: Caudalie Beauty Elixir, 1 fl oz more...
Oh my goodness this elixir was incredible! I got to try this in the Caudalie gift set I got and it came with a one ounce size to try. I love the glass bottle it came in, with an amazingly easy sprayer that coated my face with just a few spritzes. It smells absolutely amazing; the only way I can really explain what it smells like is an apothecary but it’s so divine smelling it is not overpowering whatsoever. The rosemary and mint were a perfect combo and again, reminded me of a relaxing apothecary aura. I loved using this elixir after I showered, especially on days when I was not going to wear makeup. It absorbed into my skin and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It also seemed to help with my super oily forehead!! This beauty elixir is supposed to help with enlarged pores, dryness, and dullness, and I do feel like it did those claims. My skin felt so moisturized and it kept my oil at bay; my complexion looked even and definitely glowed. This is definitely my other favorite luxury product, the first one being the Caudalie Divine Oil. It’s $49 for a 3.4 ounce bottle, but I feel like it’s worth every dollar especially because two-three sprays over your entire face. And it works beautifully!!! This is absolutely a staple in my skincare regimen; I’ve worn it alone, under makeup, on top of my makeup to set it, sprayed it during the muddle of the day to refresh my skin, and it never lets me down. The best!

YUM! I received this complimentary from Influenster and was so excited to use this body butter. I have been using Tree Hut body scrubs for a while and am addicted, so I was excited to review this product as I’ve actually never tried their body butters. The actual product is pretty thick, but when I rub it into my damp skin after my shower, it dries down nicely with no greasy residue. However, my skin feels hydrated all day and the smell- Coconut and Lime never dissipates! Tree Hut products are super affordable which is why I always use their scrubs to keep my skin exfoliated; this body butter which comes in a 7 ounce size is only $7.69 at Ulta! That’s a little over a $1 an ounce!! Super great deal, especially because this body butter compares to many high end ones I’ve tried such as The Body Shop, for more than HALF the price! I absolutely will purchase this scent and others once I use up my sample! Continuing on with the other amazing benefits, Tree Hut is a Cruelty free line, and they Paraben free! Thank you Tree Hut for an amazing body butter!!!

I really like Urban Outfitters for a few reasons; their accessories are pretty adorable, they have cute knick knacks for the house, and they always seem to have a good promotion on some of their shirts when I go in. I don't really ever buy anything here full priced, I wait until they have some kind of sale or browse the clearance section. Very trendy clothing, much of it is for a younger audience and what seems like tinier women, but I am able to find my sizes often times and things that flatter my body. I find some very cute pieces here such as my giant, comfy sweater I purchased about three years ago. It's still in perfect condition and I wear it often. However, overall much of their clothing is overpriced and I wouldn't pay full price, but I love the clearance pieces I have purchased from UO.
The messiest store I've ever walked into. I'm sure many people agree with this. The five times I have walked in here to attempt to shop, I just end up walking out disappointed. The first three times I've tried to shop, I should have just known they would never improve, but I always gave them more chances to tidy their stuff and organize, but they never do. I used to shop here frequently when I was in my early twenties, but that was when I wasn't a mother and had hours to waste time and look through their stuff. Not anymore. If buying a shirt for $4.99 is worth the two hours it takes to dig through shirts to find it, no thank you. I'd rather pay more and shop in a quarter of the time. I've found a couple cute Hello Kitty trinkets at the register, but that's basically it. I avoid this store like the plague. If it was organized, the clothing was folded, and I didn't have to dig through piles of clothing, I would walk in here. It's just not worth the effort though; my time is too important. Sorry Forever 21!
It seems a bit weird but I am giving H&M a 5 out of 5 because the pros outweigh the cons. I have never really had bad customer service here, which I appreciate. Anytime I ask for help, the associates are kind and answer my questions in a friendly manner. They have an amazing selection of clothing for men, women, and children, and I always find great deals on my four year olds clothing. They always have new styles for him, promotions on many of their items, and the quality is really great for the t shirts and his pants. I do purchase his shoes from here also because I used to buy them from Journey's and drop so much money but his feet grow so quick, I just didn't want to pay it anymore. I'd rather pay $15-$20 and have them last for a few months. I buy my camisoles, basic shirts, and "sweatpant" shorts from here because they're relatively inexpensive, and great quality. I also purchase cute blouses, good quality dresses, and some pants from here. I purchased about six dresses from here and they were all under $24.99. They wear beautifully, wash and dry nicely, and I receive compliments every time I wear them. I purchased a pair of black, tight, stretchy jeans with gold buttons and they're super comfortable and wear nicely with pretty much anything. I have never purchased their intimates or really any of their sweaters as I tend to stick to the business area and the areas with dressy blouses. Some of the clothing seems a bit young for me and I tend to avoid anything that has writing on it as I am almost thirty. I purchased a large black purse from here for around $39 and absolutely love it; I receive compliments every time I use it. It has so much space, I can wear it with any outfit, and it's sleek and pretty. There are a couple things about this store that are a bit of a turn off. Just like Forever 21, which I avoid because of this, this store is often very messy and hard to shop it. The H&M at the mall in the city I live in is relatively large, but some of the areas of the store are so crammed and packed with products and towers, I can barely walk through to look at the products they have. Most of the store I just avoid because it's too tight and uncomfortable to even look. When I am shopping in a certain area, the clothing on the tables is very disorganized, messy, and thrown everywhere. There are associates all over the store, yet none of them seem to be fixing the tables or organizing everything. I've gone in here to shop at 10 am when they open their doors to the afternoon to the weekend and they always have clothing laid everywhere, in the wrong spots, and if there is a table with a set of shirts, they'll only have XS and XL; they never seem to have smalls or mediums of anything. Most of the time the lines at the register are also incredibly long. However, I do love the fact that if you bring in a bag of old clothing or textiles that you want to recycle, they will give you a coupon for 15% off your next purchase; they also do not limit how many bags you can bring and therefore how many coupons you can get. It's pretty awesome. So aside from the cons, I still rate H&M as a 5 out of 5 because there are so many better pros of this store.
JCrew is one of my favorite clothing stores for a few reasons; their Chino Shorts are the most comfortable and flattering shorts I have ever worn. I've purchased blouses from here, t shirts, shorts, and jewelry from here and have been happy with everything I have ever purchased. Their jewelry is pretty expensive but I always purchase it when it's on clearance. I was able to purchase two well made gorgeous necklaces with jewels originally priced at $59.50 down to less than fifteen dollars each. I receive compliments every time I wear them. The quality of JCrew clothing is the best, I never have to worry about anything fading, tearing, or shrinking in the dryer. I love that their clothing is very timeless; I can purchase a blouse or jacket and it will work on it's own or layered. Also, the pieces they carry can be worn for years. I purchased a khaki, navy blue, and white pair of Chino shorts and they haven't lost their color, haven't torn, and still look great year after year when I wear them in the summer and fall. I shop here frequently, but of course I prefer the outlet; I have one about forty five minutes from my house. I love that they carry men's, women's, and children's clothes as well. Every time I have shopped here I am always asked how I'm doing by the associates and checked on frequently. I will always shop at JCrew. 5 out of 5!
Pretty great selection of products, my personal favorite is the private Food Lion brand called Nature's Place. I only buy Nature's Place brand chicken and most of their organic products; the chicken is individually wrapped and I love that I can just thaw out how many pieces of chicken I need to cook with. The brand's eggs are delicious, and I love their Sunflower oil butter they have. They always have great sales especially when you have their rewards card, and I like that often times their coupons print out in the kiosk. Excellent sales on their produce, always fresh produce, and usually carry rare foods that I need to find for certain recipes. I have many great customer service experiences at my local Food Lions as well; the associates are always very friendly, and I shop frequently at the one near my house so most of them say hello. They always have a well stocked store and are tidy as well. I always seem our local Food Lion have projects for military and many firefighters shop here which leads me to believe they support both. I love Food Lion and will always shop here if they are in my commuting distance.
I love Walgreens; I think I'm here in here three times a week, minimum. It doesn't help that I have one literally 2 minutes from my house. They just have everything for quick stops or simple ingredients I need to refill for dinner! Most of the time I spend way too much time browsing through the cosmetics department and they always have killer sales/coupons in their ad and coupon books. However, I get my dog food/treats here, my son his Shea Moisture shampoo and bubble bath, and I always refill my prescriptions here. Overall I've had excellent customer service every time I shop here. Most of the associates know us because we are in there so frequently and they call me by name; very friendly, quick at the register, and always mention the latest cosmetic sales to me. The aisles are always tidy and very filled, and if something is sold out they are always happy to check the back for me. Remember this is a drugstore, they will not have nearly as many products as the regular grocery store or cosmetics store but they often times have random brands that I can't find at those stores too. It's a perfect mix. Another great thing about Walgreens is they refill our prescriptions relatively quickly. If I drop off it typically takes 20 minutes so I can just shop around the store or let my son browse the toy section while we wait. I love so much that they can give me my flu shot right in store as well. The biggest thing about Walgreens is they have one of the best rewards cards out there. You get a point for every $1 but only certain products count; after so much money spent you can get up to $50 off your purchase which is what I typically try to save for. I love my Balance Rewards card and I love Walgreens! 5 out of 5!
Very poor customer service; the associates basically all are unfriendly, they never seem to want to help me the times that I've asked for assistance, and there are maybe three registers open at any given time, even if there are fourteen actual registers. They do have the lowest prices, but I would rather pay cents more for great customer service. Their hours are great also, but again, I'd rather sacrifice cents and shopping during the day or right when I get off work than at two in the morning and dealing with rude associates. I rarely shop here unless they have a unicorn product that I am looking for and no other store in the area carries it and it's sold out online. Sorry Walmart.
