Caramel and white cheddar... who would have thought?! But the combination is surprisingly good! For the first few bites, I found myself mixing the two types in one mouthful... then I found myself specifically seeking out the white cheddar bits, because those were especially yummy. This is a great treat for movie night - I would buy this in stores!
I received this product free/complimentary for testing purposes but all opinions are my own.
I received the L'Oreal Hair Expertise - Total Repair 5 shampoo, conditioner and leave-in cream, via an Influenster VoxBox in February. My hair is incredibly dry and damaged, due to hard water, styling tools and colouring/highlights, and this winter has been particularly tough for me. My hair has been breaking like crazy, and unfortunately, the Total Repair 5 hasn't been enough to fix it, to date. The shampoo/conditioner smells great, and leaves my hair feeling super silky, and the conditioner washes clean.
I haven't used it the full 15 times that you're supposed to use it in order to reap the benefits quite yet, but I will update after a few more washes. Currently my hair is mid to long length, and I'm actually so frustrated with it that I plan on cutting it this weekend. So I'm hopeful that this shampoo will help once I cut off all the dead and damaged ends.
This stuff truly is a miracle! I had wanted to try it, but was scared off by the price. I ended up finding a two pack (a shade called "nude" and the clear topcoat) for half price, so I scooped it up. It is worth the price, and so much more! I've since bought several more shades. This is the only nail polish that I have ever been able to keep on my fingers for more than a day without chips. My longest that I've kept it on was about 6 days - still almost not even noticeable chips, but my nails grow fast, so I could see the bottom of the nail bed needed to be re-done. This stuff is amazing and I highly recommend it!!
Love visiting Ross whenever I'm on vacation in the US. It's one of my musts on my shopping list! I mostly like browsing through the juniors section, but I've also found fantastic items in shoes and accessories - and even housewares! Highly recommend shopping at Ross :)
I picked up the first book, finished it within a day, and immediately had to head to the store to get the second. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire were definitely my favorites. Mockingjay was okay as well, but didn't hold my attention as much as the first two books. The movies are pretty good representations of the books as well. I would recommend this as a quick and easy read!
I received these lashes in my J'Adore vox box. I've never worn false lashes before, so I was actually kind of excited about them... but they were SO difficult to put on. The glue kept lifting up at the sides, and while it was comical, I wouldn't call it "attractive" - I ended up giving up on them, because I got too frustrated. I saved them to try again, but I'm actually not really sure if you're supposed to reuse lashes once they've had the glue applied. Anyway, I'm sure these lashes would be great if you're used to using false lashes, but for me personally, they weren't so great.
Okay, so I received the chocolate cherry flavor in my Violet VoxBox, and I have to say, it was probably the item I was least interested in. I prefer not to eat soy, especially non-organic and non-fermented soy. But I wanted to give it a chance anyway, to see if this would be the magic bar to change my mind.
Unfortunately, it wasn't. I found this bar dry and I didn't enjoy the taste of it at all. I shared it with my mom (who doesn't have issues eating soy) and she actually thought the same thing. Ultimately, it's not a product that I would go out and buy.
Movember is a great cause. Bringing awareness to testicular cancer is super important. I know lots of guys who participate in this yearly, and I am happy to support them. The only problem with this is as it becomes more trendy, more and more guys are growing their "mo" without knowing the reasoning behind it. Which means that they're not gathering the donations necessary to help the cause move forward!
I *love* all things Disney. Walt Disney is one of the most inspiring men who ever existed. And Disney World is my favorite place on earth. My first trip wasn't until I was 16 years old, but it was magical to me then, and it's still magical to me now. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon (we pulled out the sword in the stone! I have photographic evidence!), and being Florida residents, we are planning on buying annual passes as well.
Best tip for a Disney Vacation: splurge on food just a little, but try to find a hotel room with a mini-fridge. Eat breakfast in your hotel room and pack some snacks and water to get you through the day. Water at Disney is expensive to buy, but there are fountains everywhere, and you can refill for free!
If I'm ever feeling sad... or bored... this is the place for me to go. There's one in just about every city in North America, and they're all laid out practically the same way. Just walking into that first aisle of Martha Stewart paper, stamps and punches makes me giddy. It's hard for me to spend less than an hour, and less than $100 in this store.
