My daughter and I LOVE Nutella. We eat it on our toast, strawberries, and we bake with it, a lot! Our favorite is to make a Nutella filling and smoosh it between two peanut butter cookies. SO GOOD. Nutella just has a great flavor that other brands cannot quite match. It is worth the price to pay for the Nutella brand.
I bake, a lot! So I use a ton of chocolate chips. I personally enjoy milk chocolate and prefer that hands down to semi-sweet, but sometimes things need to be semi-sweet to get the right flavor combinations. I tend to choose the mini chips and mix them with Hershey's milk chocolate chips in my cookies, just because it adds a dynamic flavor. These melt well, or they hold their shape well, and they always taste fresh.
This is the first book I read by Emily Giffen (obviously, since it was her first) and I was hooked to her books ever since. This one sucked me in right away and kept my attention. I love to read (and write) romance novels, so this was right up my alley. I love the characters and can identify with them on a human level - not just as a character in a book.
I think what I appreciated most about this book was the turn of events. I could relate to the husband and his feelings throughout the journey in the story. It was a quick read, a good thriller in a way, and kept my mind wondering "WTH?" Which is good! Because many books can't do that. The story is fresh and not overdone, the details are great, the narrator's point-of-view changes with the journal entries make it fun to read.
My husband and I enjoy eating at Panda Express on easy diner nights when our daughter only wants McDonald's (which is next to the Panda Express we eat at). I only ever get the orange chicken because, honestly, it is their best dish. My husband always gets the honey walnut shrimp, but it always costs us a few bucks more to get the shrimp. He really enjoys it. I get noodles instead of the fried rice. I am pretty sure it is just made with soy sauce, which in my belief is the absolute worst way to make fried rice. I typically make all our Asian meals at home, since my husband is Asian, so it never compares to homemade food. But, if you want a quick fix, then it can't be beat.
I always use Kayak first when I am searching for airplane tickets. I love the comparisons of the price from each airline, as well as flexible dates. I often times will start my search here and then find the hotels from Expedia. I like to look in advance on this website as soon as I am thinking about going somewhere, so I have a ballpark estimate about how much it is going to cost.
We took a four day cruise to the Bahamas. At the time my daughter was 18 months old, and we were nervous how she was going to do. She did awesome and I really think it is due to the wonderful staff on our Carnival cruise. Most of them admit to you that they miss their families since they have to be on board for so long without seeing them, so they pamper your kids! She got special attention, especially while dining. Everything we needed, such as a stroller when we got off on the islands, was available to us. Our steward would tuck in her baby doll everyday when he cleaned our cabin. The room was clean, the food was good, the price was right. I would go again in a heartbeat. Now that my daughter is five, it will be even more enjoyable for her!
I was in need of a new baking sheet, with a rim around it, and I came across one at Target for $15. I couldn't pass it up. I love that the bottom is textured, NOTHING sticks to it. I have baked cookies, brownies, scones, and muffin tops using the pan and never once have I had to grease it before baking. I absolutely love it and it is my favorite baking sheet. I have since bought another, and wash them by hand only. Definitely makes a difference. I'll be purchasing more of their bakeware in the near future!
I don't believe there is any other chocolate candy that top a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Seriously...you can get them by themselves, or top ice cream, or cakes, or cookies, or brownies, or cheesecake with them and instantly make anything better!
