I'm Stephanie! Grad student, baker and cake decorator turned wife. I'm constantly on the go- whether I'm going to classes, delivering cakes, nannying, volunteering in the elementary schools, or trying out new recipes on my wonderful [but OH SO PICKY] husband, Mitch.
As far as pricing is concerned, these polished can hardly be beaten. They’re fairly cheap, you can find them nearly anywhere and they come in an array of colors. They don’t last as long without chipping as some competing brands, but they’re also less expensive than those competing brands.
St. Ives scrubs are probably my all time favorite facial product. They remove the dry, dead skin, moisturize the healthy skin, and prevent blemishes, leaving your face soft, smooth, and bright. It’s a necessity.
I love this moisturizer. It’s fairly cheap, you can find it nearly anywhere, and it does a great job protecting your face from harsh winter weather without clogging pores. It also has a very light scent so it’s not overwhelming.
It’s pretty hard for me to give a review for tweezers... I feel like they really have a single purpose, and so long as they fulfill that purpose- they’re great. And these definitely do fulfill their set purpose. So don’t worry about these ones!
I’m honestly not very good at makeup. At all. I don’t even have a genuine purpose for this brush because I don’t wear foundation at all. But I do know that (on the rare occasions that I’ve used it [for the entirely wrong product, I’m sure]) it sheds horribly. And it hurts to write a bad elf review because I usually love their products, just maybe stay away from their brushes if possible?
So I actually steal this from my husband on occasion when I take the time to let my hair air dry into curls. It does a fair job when I use it to scrunch my hair when it’s wet, but is very crunchy when I apply it to “drier-than-soaked” hair.
I truly loved using this conditioner because it smells fantastic and the scent stays on your hair even after you’ve rinsed it out. The only reason I’ve continued experimenting with other brands is because it didn’t prevent frizz as well as other brands, and it’s a little more expensive than others m, as well.
I love this conditioner just as much as I love the shampoo. It worked miracles on my splitting, frizzy hair for a fraction of the price that some other brands offer and you can pick it up at almost any store.
My aunt is a hairdresser and got me a pack of this shampoo, conditioner and the K-Pak. I liked them, but they weren’t my favorite products. They’re more expensive than other shampoos, and I didn’t notice any difference in my hair after using this. Also, I thought it smelled oddly of banana candy.
I love this shampoo. I’d still be using it if I hadn’t had to switch to a dandruff shampoo. It smells light and fresh, made my hair softer and silkier than ANY other shampoo I’ve ever used, and it’s ridiculously affordable compared to others. Would buy a hundred times again.
