I don't always use gel with my curls because it very often gets crunchy or overly weighed down. However when it's really humid out if I want to wear curls I'll use a little bit of this. I recommend putting it into your hair when it's still very wet and you'll get less crunch.
My hairdresser got me turned on to pureology a few years ago with their moisture line which I love. However one day I stumbled across this at Ulta and had to get it. This really helps protect your color while deeply hydrating. Definitely worth it.
If you're looking for an extremely affordable but deeply hydrating conditioner this stuff is fantastic. And if you're like me and have a ton of thick hair and need to use a lot you won't feel guilty about it. Sometimes I'll actually mix this in with my more expensive conditioners so that I have enough for all my hair
I have curly, dry, color treated hair and I used to be on a swim team where I was in chlorine water six days a week. Needless to say my hair took a beating. My hairdresser recommended this to help salvage my hair which was feeling like straw. It really does work. I highly recommend it. You can use it pretty often without your hair getting heavy which is nice.
Looking at this color I was initially very skeptical. I just kept thinking my undereyes were going to go from dark to bright orange-y apricot. Keep calm and carry on. You can blend it on quite thinly and precisely with the applicator tip and it disappears under concealer. I was worried adding the concealer on top would make it muddy, but they actually play very nicely (I used Tarte Shape Tape on top). When you first get the product it will take quite a few clicks before product comes out so be patient and don't over turn it or too much will come out. A little goes a long way. I usually will give it one turn and then wait a second or two for it to come to the surface before I start applying it. The applicator tip is almost like a doe foot applicator and I use that to spread the product and place it where I want. Sometimes I will use my ring finger or a beauty blender to soften the edges, but most days I don't need to. Overall a great product.
I had been looking at this foundation for a while since I needed a new full coverage foundation and I'm already a fan of Urban Decay. I highly recommend going in store and swatching, because the shade I initially thought I was, was actually just a touch too light. It's definitely a medium to full coverage and buildable. I paired it with the Optical Illusion primer and they work really well together. I do recommend starting with a little product and then adding more. A pump doesn't look like a lot, but it goes a long way. I also like that there is a very wide shade range and a concealer to match every shade. That helps a lot when you're trying to build your makeup routine and don't want to have to overthink it.
Express has really affordable workwear and even some cute party or day wear. I absolutely love their editor pants for work. I really suggest waiting for sales since you can get a much better deal and they have them frequently. My one problem is they have extremely inconsistent sizing. I have the same style of pant in a 0 and a six and they fit exactly the same. So definitely try on whatever you're buying before you get it.
If you have champagne taste and a beer budget, this is the store for you. It can definitely be one of those stores where you really have to search the racks to find what you looking for, but if you're patient you can get some great steals.
What's not to love about DSW? You can get such amazing deals on awesome shoes (and some accessories) so I always check there when I need shoes. Depending on the deals I can sometimes get 3 pairs of shoes for the price of 1. Plus they have a great online selection.
