Good furniture at amazing prices. Perfect for anyone on a budget or just starting out. My only complaint is the obviously planned out confusing nature of the stores. They want to be sure you walk by EVERYTHING - and that's going to take you hours!
The few products that I have tried out from the Becca family have been quality products with great color payoff and lasting ability. The packagind of these products is top notch, and cute enough to display.
The three stars I'm giving to Ulta for this review is a mashup between my online experience (5 stars) and my in-store experience (-1,000 stars).
I love the idea of Ulta, both luxury and drugstore brands of cosmetics and other beauty products all under one roof. Plus the perks and discounts (normally only available on drugstore brands) are quite good if you know how to shop the system vs. your impulses.
In store, however, i have never had a good experience. Rude employees along with extremely unprofessional management has made me swear off walking into any ulta store for the foreseeable future.
Before mainstream brands added bright and bold colors to their collections, MAC was the only place I could shop for these products. The sleek all black packaging is a favorite to me and the ease of use with the refillable palettes has got me coming back for more. Customer service leaves a bit to be desired, as I definitely have more negative attitudes thrown my way when shopping than positive - but the products and prices tend to stomp that out.
I shop regularly at Bed Bath & Beyond, and ours happens to have a Harmon inside, which has phenomenal base pricing on cosmetics and bath and body supplies, not to mention they accept all BB&B coupons, so prices cannot be beat!
I am definitely a fan and their selection of brands and products is stellar.
Oh Sephora....my first indulgence. A great store with knowledgeable employees and good customer service. Their return policy is similar to that of Nordstrom, which keeps me shopping there instead of directly with the brands for ease of return and use. The other major beauty retailer unfortunately has given me horrendous customer service at all of the stores that I have visited. The lines available at Sephora are numerous, and the extras and benefits of shopping online keep me browsing in store but purchasing online.
E.L.F. is an in between brand for me, some products are amazingly wonderful and the others are mostly just ehhh for me. I use the black gel liner daily and enjoy it over all of the other high end brands that I have tried. But a good number of the lip colors are unfortunately not very pigmented. I do love the price range, though, as it does make decent quality cosmetics available to a larger population - and the more people who have access to something as fun as makeup...the better!
