Review for Midway De La Cruz Moisturizer Vitamin E Cream - 4 oz - 1 year, 1 month ago
First off, I'm surprised this is listed under "Facial Moisturizer" as I personally would never use this on my face. While you could, and it says on the product you can use it under makeup, it just seems much too thick even as a night cream. I'm scared it will break me out because I don't think it's non-comedogenic.
What I LOVE it for though is super rough, dry patches on the skin. Often times when I shower at night I'll apply this to my elbows and feet so it can work over night and things are much softer by the time I wake up.
It's quite inexpensive for the amount you get and since it's so thick and you don't need too much it'll last a while.
The scent is medium intensity but fairly "natural" so it shouldn't bother anyone with sensitivity issues. There's no real distinct "flavor" to compare it to.

Review for Curel® Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer - 1 year, 2 months ago
I ADORE this moisturizer! This is perfect for people who want to try the whole "wet" lotion thing but can't wrap their heads around "in-shower" lotions (aka me - feels like rinsing it off is literally putting money down the drain?).
You apply this moisturizer straight OUT of the shower but BEFORE you towel off! Because your skin is still wet and the formula is "water activated" it turns into this nice, thin, easy to apply consistency that QUICKLY ABSORBS into the skin (my favorite reason to use this over regular lotion!!!). Since it absorbs so fast I feel that it also penetrates the skin better, not just sit on the surface like some others. My skin feels much more supple and soft and it's very noticeably hydrated.
There's no real discernible "scent", just a plain typical lotion smell that's not strong and doesn't linger too long. This is great for people who don't like their moisturizers interfering with their fragrance choices.
I would totally repurchase in the future!

I bought this only because it was on sale for $1 I believe because it's being discontinued. After using it I'm glad I didn't pay retail price. It worked okay, my hair did feel a little more moisturized and it helped to detangle a little but it also kind of made my hair feel a bit sticky after it dried. It felt like my hair got dirtier faster.
Also for some reason this really smells like green apple scent even though it doesn't mention it.

Review for Herbal Essences Smooth Collection Shampoo - 1 year, 2 months ago
Tried this for a month. Cleanses VERY thoroughly. Gets rid of heavy buildup without leaving a residue. Strips of all natural oils. Wouldn't dare use WITHOUT conditioner because hair will be dry and brittle.
Scent is nice in shower but fades from hair in 6-8 hours, wish it'd linger a little longer because it's a pleasant rosy, floral aroma.

Review for Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - 1 year, 2 months ago
This is perfect for night time use! Since it's quite thick and waxy I wouldn't put this on before going out anywhere because there's a tendency for lint and stuff to stick on it since it doesn't sink in quickly. But for this same reason it leaves your cuticles super extra hydrated when you wake up since it's been sinking in the entire night. Extra plus for me since lemon is one of my favorite scents!

Review for COVERGIRL Clean Matte BB Cream - 1 year, 2 months ago
Simple, easy to use, no fuss BB Cream! I bought this from Target after watching Emily Noel's review on YouTube. It's my first BB Cream and I'm fairly satisfied with it.

I'm pretty tan with yellow undertones on my body skin so I got the shade Medium. After a few days of application I've determined that I got the best shade for me. If you're right between shades and you're oily/combo (as this product is intended for) I say go with the lighter shade since it does oxidize slightly after an hour or so.

It's a perfectly medium coverage product, my super dark acne scars will peek through (thus needing concealer over it) but red, minor blemishes are well hidden. Because of this I like to wear it when I still want a more even complexion but don't want to wear a heavy or super "perfect" foundation. I apply with the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge.

It leaves a nice powder like finish so I don't feel the need to set with powder. It does dry matte but not extreme matte (if that makes any sense). I'm most oily on my nose so I do notice needing to blot there maybe after 2-3 hours (and I'll blot my T-zone just for the heck of it also though there isn't a visible need).

For the price and ease of application/wear I would repurchase.

Review for Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover - 1 year, 2 months ago
Soooo happy I picked this up. Years ago Sally Hansen had a cuticle remover that was beige in color and came in a nail polish like bottle with a polish like cap brush and it sucked, didn't do a thing. But this blue stuff is incredibly better.

I have EXTREMELY sticky/thick cuticles and this product helps loosen it with ease. Here's the best way I've found to use it: Start with softened cuticles (this means right after a shower or having your fingers soaking in warm water for about 5 minutes at least). Then work one finger at a time. Apply the cuticle remover right where you want it, wait about 30 seconds then dip your cuticle pusher in water and gently start scraping it back/off. The key is to keep things moist - If you let the entire nail dry things just become weird and sticky and you're more likely to damage your nail or skin. The bottle may seem small for the price but keep in mind it's only used on your cuticles so it will last you a long while. I will definitely be repurchasing in the future!
Also, don't forget to rehydrate your cuticles after with some oil, creme, or butter!!!

This flavor was just okay. Honestly, it tasted like a watered down Orange flavor. I would purchase the orange flavor over this tangerine one in the future. If you like really mild flavors you'd enjoy this more. It also wasn't as sweet either.

Review for COVERGIRL Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner - 1 year, 8 months ago
Review for: Intense Black
This is almost exactly like using a Sharpie on your eyelid (but just with a funny U shaped tip) lol. It really does feel like you're just using a marker bc the liquid is so easy to work with. It's not at all runny like other liquid liners. If you're trying to go for a pointed wing look I would opt for something else. Personally I use this for the base line on my upper lid bc the thick side of the applicator makes it so fast then just wing it out with a different pen. This has seriously made putting eyeliner on 10 times faster.
Doesn't smudge and lasts throughout the day. Also pretty quick drying which I love.
One set back is that bc the applicator is so wide this seems to dry out the formula a lot faster than your regular liquid liner (or maybe it just has less product in it? I'm not sure =\ ). Will NOT be repurchasing. Better liquid liners out there that are cheaper, don't dry out as quick and don't require a second liner to get the job done
