Hi there! I'm a happily middle-aged 40-something who is trying to live a life that is God-honoring, budget-friendly, positively impacting those around me, and content. I get excited about new products and gadgets, but I also want to be eco-friendly. I love my family, my friends, the outdoors, and I really love meeting new people despite being an introvert. I’m a jokester at heart because laughing always feels great. Y'all have a great day!
I used this recently... on and off for about a month, and I noticed some redness and skin irritation after using it. I noticed more breakouts, instead of fewer. The scent is light. It is not overpowering. However, it did not do what I wanted it to do... to reduce the number of blemishes I have. I would not purchase this product again. I would not recommend it. The granules are a bit harsh.
I received the Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum for free from Influenster. I have used this product once daily for about 2 weeks. I am middle aged (forties), and I take good care of my skin. I routinely use gentle cleansers (fragrance free), minimal makeup and always sunscreen.
There were 3 or 4 days where I used the serum twice a day. At the end of 2 weeks, I have not noticed any change in my skin – neither positive nor negative. It is a lightweight, creamy serum (not thick and not oily). After application, my skin feels hydrated and supple. And it looks luminous! It has a citrus scent which I enjoy, and I did not have any adverse effects such as acne or other skin eruptions. I enjoyed using this serum very much, but I would not purchase this item as an add-on to my skin care routine. The hydration and luminosity was only noticed for the first half hour at best. There was no lasting brightening affect. I will reiterate that it did leave my skin luminous and hydrated. #Perricone #Vitamin C #Serum #Complementary #Brightening #SkinCare
GREAT hairspray... I have curly, frizzy, coarse hair and this hairspray allows for flexible hold. I absolutely love that it allows flexibility. I have been using this product for 4 or more years and will continue to use it.
I need to have a cleanser that produces some foam... I just feel like I know it is working. This cleanser does not foam and it does not claim to foam. I realize it does not claim to foam up or to lather up. But its consistency was just so thin, I felt I had to use more to get mascara off. The Garnier facial cleanser is much better. I will not be buying this Jason brand again.
Well, it definitely tingles when you apply. I don't know what it is actually doing to my skin. In about 3-5 minutes, my face started to flush/redden. But since I was home and I felt comfortable doing so, I left the mask on. The tingling sensation went away after about 9 minutes but the redness remained for about 2 hours. I will probably not purchase this one again.
I'm convinced I have contact dermatitis. When my lips get really chapped (with fissures and all), I start my arsenal of allergy medicines and make sure no makeup touches my lips. I use Vaseline for my lips only and in about 3 days, my lips feel much better. Never has EOS helped me - in fact, using the EOS lip balm made things worse. This product does not work for me and it exacerbates the dryness. I will never use again and I do not recommend it.
Just FYI, I try to take great care of my skin. This includes drinking 50-64 ounces of water/day, lots of fruits and vegetables, and daily use of SPF. I try to use organic, fragrance free products as much as possible. However, with contact dermatitis, you can still get chapped lips. Vaseline has always been enough to help.
