I've been wanting to try an eye cream for a while since I struggle with dark circles and puffiness under my eyes. I was hesitant to try an eye cream because of the price of most eye creams. However, I got a good deal on this eye cream at Marshalls and decided to try it. I've only been using it for a few days, and my dark circles do appear lighter. Plus this product is very moisturizing. My eyelids get dry patches on them during the winter, and this product helps keep the skin around my eyes hydrated.
I have very fine but, thick hair that tangles easily, and decided to give this product a try. Pros: I noticed my hair was less frizzy when I used it. The formula is lightweight and works great on wet hair. I like using this product with a little arjan oil on my ends. Smells amazing. Cons: Very sticky when used on dry hair. Though it was still fairly easy to brush through my hair, it became a knotted mess by the end of the day (probably because of the stickiness of this product) Final verdict, this is an amazing leave-in conditioner/detangler to use after you washed your hair. If you have fine hair I would not recommend using it on dry hair even though the bottle says you can use it wet or dry.
I have really fine but, thick hair, and decided to give this product a try. I found it at Marshalls for a great price. Since it is a serum you don't need a lot of product. 1-2 pumps should be enough. This serum smells amazing, and definetly tamed my dry, frizzy hair. I wish I discovered this product sooner. I'll definetly be re-purchasing.
After reading the reviews and swatching this palette I didn't think I would like it. Turns out I was wrong! The colors aren't bold or super pigemented, so if you're wanting something more bold I wouldn't recommend this palette. I wet my brushes with a little setting spray before applying this eyeshadow and was pleasantly surprised. While the colors aren't very bold, all the shades are very pretty. This is a great wear to work palette if you want something subtle that also has a bit of shimmer.
A friend of mine got this in her fabfitfun box, and gave it to me because she was allergic to one of the ingredients. I tried it out tonight, and oh my god it burned. I have really sensitive skin so I only kept it on for about 30 seconds. My skin did feel more glowy and rejuvenated afterwards. However, next time I use it I'm going to try it in the shower. If it's still too intense I'm going to give it to someone else. I'd like to try the gentle version of this exfoliator but I'm hesitant because of the price.
This is the first NYX brush I ever tried, and so far I really like it. I purchased this brush at Ulta for around $8. I used it for my highlighter. The bristles are soft, and I found that it provided me with a smooth, even application. The brush is small enough that it works well both under my eyes and on my nose. While some brushes make highlighter look cakey on my chin (I have dry skin) this one left a smooth finish, and really packed in my highlighter.
I purchased this brush to use for my bronzer. I must say I'm impressed! The bristles are super soft ajd provide a smooth application. It works well for both the jawline and hair line, and is well priced.
This mascara is very comfortable to wear. It also separated my lashes very nicely. However, there is very little color payoff. I purchased the purple mascara at ulta expecting it to add some color to my lashes. After several applications my lashes had hardly any color. I would purchase the black since it's a nice formula but, the colors don't show up at all.
I picked up this plumper/primer combo for $3 at Target. I've been wanting to purchase a lip plumper for a while since I have small lips. The plumping side works really well. It's tingly without being overpowering. I wouldn't use the primer with a lipgloss or anything sheer though since it doesn't go on clear. I used it with a tinted lip balm and you could see it through the lip balm. However, it works really well under liquid lipsticks, and makes them feel less drying.
