My favorite activities are cooking, reading, walking, going to the gym, watching beauty YouTubers, eating ice cream, and being with friends! I'm a sucker for a good perfume, hate the rain and snow, love trying out new beauty and skincare products, love the smell of dryer sheets, want to visit Europe someday, watch Shark Tank religiously, and am sadly attached to my phone (which is REALLY pathetic).
I love this serum. The Ole Henriksen line of skincare generally works well with my skin and this is a product that has really been a standout. The formula is light, absorbs nicely, has a pleasant citrus scent, and gives the skin a beautiful glow with continued use. My skin just looks healthier when I use this consistently and it "plays nicely" with the other skincare products and cosmetics that I use. I really have no complaints about this other than the price tag--I wish it was a little less expensive. I'd highly recommend trying this out, though, because it's worth the cost.
It's really nice having the mini sizes because they're extremely convenient for throwing into my purse or gym bag or even for keeping at my desk at work. However, the price tag is still a little bit steep considering that these are not full-sized tubes and I've found that I can go through them pretty quickly. I enjoy them, they provide moisture and hydration, and they have a nice taste and smell but I probably wouldn't purchase them again simply because of the cost.
This is a great cleanser/wash for individuals with sensitive skin because it's effective but extremely gentle. While I think it's a great product for some, it just isn't for me; I prefer something that's more exfoliating or has added skincare benefits and since I don't have sensitive skin this particular formula--while still a good cleanser--just isn't something that I reach for. It's a very basic cleanser and great for people just starting out with a skincare routine and I would definitely recommend it for those that want something moisturizing and gentle.
Review for: boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel 5 oz, boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel more...
I used to really like this until I actually tried other peel gels and then I realized that there are other gels that I like much better. This one is effective but can be difficult (and painful!) to remove if accidentally applied to any little baby facial hairs. However, I really enjoy both the Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Peeling Gel as well as the Saturday Skin Peel Gel; neither of these formulas has the same "stickiness" and I find that both are actually more effective at exfoliating. The Boscia Peel Gel isn't "bad" but there are others that I think are far better.
Review for: Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads, 60 count more...
I had such high hopes for these! Everyone raves about them and I really didn't see a very noticeable difference in my skin after using them regularly. They're pricey but it's actually easy to cut a pad in half and use just a half of a pad per application, which makes them last longer and then it's easier to justify the price. While I really like a lot of PTR products and am convinced that the brand makes high-quality skincare products, these pads just didn't work for me as well as I would have liked.
This is such a great eye balm! I've tried a lot of different formulas from different brands and very rarely have i seen a truly noticeable difference in the appearance of my undereye area but this particular product really delivers. Within about a week after I began using it I could visually see a reduction in dark circles which completely shocked me. I wish it wasn't so expensive!
I love this! I really loved last year's limited edition Marc Jacobs perfume in Daisy Dream Kiss and this one is a close tie for me. It's so unique and so everyday-wearable, feminine, and memorable. There are several other Marc Jacobs fragrances that I also enjoy but this one is probably either my number one or two favorite (alongside the Daisy Dream Kiss). The Eau So Fresh is my favorite of the three limited edition fragrances this year and I can't stop wearing it--this will be my "signature scent" this year.
I've been using the Real Techniques sponges for the last year or two but I think that the formula or the texture of their sponges has changed recently and I haven't been as happy with them as I used to be. Based on the recommendation from one of my favorite YouTubers, I decided to try out the L'Oreal sponge instead. I'm really glad that I did because I've been extremely satisfied with it and I feel like it does a great job. At first glance, the shape looks a little dysfunctional but I quickly realized that it's not only useful but very ergonomic. The curvature makes it easy to hold the sponge very comfortably, the slightly rounded base is great for putting foundation all over my face, and the pointed tip makes it very easy to apply concealer directly under my eyes. It's also incredibly affordable! I wish that I had tried this sooner but I'm really glad that I finally made the switch.
I first tried this in a little travel-size bottle and I instantly fell in love! This is absolutely the best eye makeup remover I've ever tried. It's a biphasic solution that isn't at all irritating on my skin or to my eye area and it very quickly and effectively takes off all of the makeup on my eyes. I find that it leaves just a tiny bit of a residue but it dries quickly and then I don't even notice it. The Sephora collection definitely has some hidden gems and I completely believe that this is one of them. I will continue to repurchase this again and again.
This is a really interesting primer because not only does it contain enough silicone/dimethicone to create a little bit of a "slip" and to smooth out pores but it's also moisturizing at the same time. Normally I would loosely classify primers as being either "pore-filling" or "hydrating" but this one's a hybrid between the two. It doesn't seem to necessarily make my makeup last a lot longer but it does create a smooth canvas without being too slippery and it actually does provide a decent amount of hydration. It wouldn't be my absolute favorite but I do enjoy using it.
