I’m a woman in tech experiencing the world with fervor and zest, savoring even the smallest moments.
As I continue through life, gradually claiming ownership over my existence, seeking out the marvelous in the mundane, I take notes along the way to look back on and remember.
This blog is the movie-montage equivalent of brief and narrow glimpses into facets of my life at a time when I am experiencing more growth, joy, potential, love, warmth and kindness than were ever possible, hobbled together in posts that can never fully encapsulate the power, the magic, the sheer energetic force of this time. But I'll capture a fragment of a piece of this moment here, in this blog, to have for myself later, and to share with you right now.
This vodka is daaaangerously gooood! When mixed with root beer it is a super-strong root beer drink. One of my favorites is to mix it with Dr. Pepper. The two flavors go surprisingly well together. But the absolute best is coke, vanilla ice cream, and Three Olives Root Beer vodka. The coke and Root Beer vodka combined just taste like plain root beer. Once the vanilla ice cream is added you get a boozy root beer float with a kick.
The Smirnoff Ice Twisted Party Pack is the absolutely perfect addition to any camping or canoeing trip. Kept in a cooler over ice, (or dry ice for longer trips!) it's refreshing and fun - a perfect summer sunny day outdoor with friends kind of drink.
THIS is my favorite gin of all-time! I've tried many over the years and always come back to this particular gin. It's smooth and nuanced, subtle and well-balanced. It's great in a drink or on its own with some soda and lime. My personal favorite is Bombay Sapphire, lemonade, soda, mint, and lime on a patio on a perfect summer day. I reserve this drink particularly for that type of breezy, lazy, summer afternoon.
I first heard of this gin back in the and 1990s as a teen listening to Snoop Dogg songs. It was the first gin I ever tried and I absolutely loved it! Until, that is, I came of age and had access to any brand at any liquor store. Tanqueray has a much stronger "pine" taste than other gins. If you enjoy that then this gin is for you. It's flavor does not enmesh itself well with mixers or juices and the overall taste is rather strong. It doesn't really go down very easily.
This is a good gin. It has a smooth texture, minimal burn, nice balance of both piney and citrus tones, and goes down smoothly and easily by itself with some ice and a twist of lime and a splash of soda.
Left my hair with volume, but also left it feeling chalky and dry. Overall I would not recommend. While it did deliver on the promised volume it also left my hair feeling damaged. Definitely would not recommend for color-treated or chemically-processed hair.
Ole Henricksen products are phenomenal. They were my first repeat products in skincare meaning that while I like to try new things and branch out a lot, these were the first I found myself buying repeatedly.
I take my night cream even more seriously than my day creams as I am counting on the night creams putting in extra leg work to do reparative and restorative work while I am off in dream land! This cream is thick but not too thick . I put it on after toner and to avoid pilling just be sure and let the toner absorb and completely dry first.
