There are a lot of downsides to this sunscreen - it has a strong, not too pleasant scent, it's a very thick formula that is difficult to apply, and it also leaves a pretty visible white cast after application.
Despite all that, this sunscreen is still worth purchasing, especially if you're looking to go into the ocean where wildlife needs to be protected. This sunscreen doesn't have some of the dangerous chemicals seen in most sunscreens, which is good for you, good for the wildlife! I brought it to Cancun, and I didn't get sunburned, and I could use it everywhere!
I do wish, however, that there was a travel size version for this.
Burt's Bees is one of my favorite drugstore brands, and with good reason. I love this Intense Hydration cleanser for the winter months, when the wind and cold makes my skin feel especially dry. This cleanser feels great on the skin, doesn't make me break out, and leaves a nice tingling, refreshed feeling. Overall, a good basic cleanser!
This has become my go-to cleanser. It's not lifechanging by any means, but I have found Aveeno products consistently work well with my skin (somewhat sensitive, acne-prone, combination). I love the foam - it feels like you can use less product for more. The smell is very fresh, and overall using it leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed, but not completely stripped of oils. I've tried many other cleansers but always seem to come back to this one, especially during the summer.
Rachel (RachhLoves) on Youtube always comes back to this mascara as one of her drugstore faves, so I finally picked it up to try it out for myself. Wow, I am impressed!
To start off, the packaging is quite adorable. The formula is fairly long lasting and gives a definite impact, albeit on the clumpier side. It's fairly lasting, from what I've seen. And, given the less than $5 price tag? Definitely worth a try!
This is a fairly great everyday moisturizer with a relatively high SPF. On my relatively oily skin, it can get a bit greasy (but any and every moisturizer does that for me). I love the light feel of the moisturizer, that it doesn't have any strong scent, and it's packaging. Also, it didn't cause me to break out, which is always a miracle!
For the price range, this is an above average liquid eyeliner with a decent brush tip and a good formula. It really is nothing particularly outstanding, and the liner itself dries out relatively quickly. But given how inexpensive it is, there's no tears shed when it does go bad!
If you're looking for a store that sells high-quality, relatively affordable, basic pieces, this is your store! Uniqlo definitely has a relatively minimalistic, simple style with mostly solid colors or simple prints rather than many flashy pieces which I personally love. It is absolutely great if you want to easily pair different pieces together for many outfits!
The price point is a bit higher than H&M and Forever 21, but I think the great quality more than makes up for the higher prices. Also, if you find the right sales, you can buy these great clothing items for cheap! I went just on a normal day - not during the holidays, and managed to get a great plaid skirt for $5.90 (OMG) and my favorite leggings for $9.90. So, prices are definitely within reasonable range!
Also, I've heard a lot of great things about the HeatTech range, along with the down jackets and other outwear. I've personally never bought it, but I've only heard positives, so I would definitely recommend!
If you haven't tried these, you're missing out. These are by far my favorite M&M's! A lot of people like peanut M&M's, but I personally don't like them because having a single peanut in the middle always tasted a bit off. The better alternative takes form in this candy - having a creamy peanut butter center makes the M&M complete! It is more "exotic" than the traditional M&M, but it still feels like such a traditional snack - almost like Reeses', but I think it's better!
Ghirardelli is possibly one of my favorite chocolate brands, and with good reason. The chocolate squares are packaged incredibly conveniently, so I like throwing some into my purse whenever I'm on the go. I love almost all the flavors, but particularly enjoy the ones where the inside is gooey and melts in your mouth in contrast to the harder, solid chocolate. It is definitely an experience.
