I’m not the hugest fan of this brush. I have kind of small eyes, and this brush was far too large to do my eyeshadow. It was also kinda expensive. It is however very soft and has stood up to a couple of cleanings just fine.
This pencil is just alright in my opinion. I like the color of this particular color, it’s just the right shade of red-brown. I also like the way it applies, it is very smooth and just waxy enough. However, I do have some issues with this pencil. I don’t like how wide it is, it’s great for the wider parts of my brows, but once I get to the tail, it’s hard to be precise and I usually end up messing up. This brow product didn’t last me very long as well. Used everyday for three weeks, and it’s gone. I can use NYX Micro Brow Pencil everyday for a couple months before I run out. It’s odd. This product also breaks off really easily. This morning I was applying it to my brows and a chunk just snapped off. Which means even less product. Overall, it’s meh. Better alternatives exist.
Pros: *Shade variety: I love how many shades are offered. I’m often one of the palest shades, and have a kind of weird undertone so it’s difficult for me to match my foundation. But with this wide variety, I was able to find just the right shade. *Full coverage: Holy guacamole is this foundation full coverage! It does an amazing job of covering up my acne and freckles. *Finish: I actually really like the finish of this product. It’s matte, but also kind of powdery which I think works well for my combination skin type. I also find that it doesn’t really look cake-y or maximize all my dry patches.
Cons: *Price: This foundation at 14.99 a bottle isn’t cheap, and is kind of verging on above drug store price range. I do understand that NYX is supposed to be a higher end drug store brand, so I’m not mad about it. But also cheaper alternatives do exist.
I love this wand! I got it for 50% at Ulta on Black Friday and I use it almost daily. It’s very versatile; you can use it to create tight curls or more loose waves. It also comes with a heat-protectant glove in order to avoid burning your fingers when you use it. If I had anything bad to say about this product, I wish that it had different temperature settings for just a little more customization on my curls. But, if you do not really care about that, then I highly recommend this iron!
I kind of hate these eyeshadows, and that makes me sad because I love e.l.f. products. These eyeshadows are not pigmented at all, the blacks come off very grey and the other colors are just very muted. They also just don’t apply very nicely, they are very patchy and just too powerdy to look nice on the eyelid. The metallics included in this set are pretty though, so it’s got that going for it. However, there’s better shadows out there, even some from e.l.f. I do not recommend, instead save some money and look at other products.
My least favorite flavor that I’ve tried thus far. It tastes like If someone mixed that coconut-scented sunscreen with sparkling water. It’s not even very coconutty, it just has a kind of coconut scent almost, like if someone dropped the essence of a coconut scented candle. I was very disappointed, because I love coconut! This flavor also leaves a kind of waxy feel in my mouth, like I just ate some lotion. I do not recommend this flavor of La Croix, unless eating suntan lotion is your thing, then go for it.
I was never a big La Croix person when I first started out, but now I kind of love it, particularly this flavor. It’s got just the right amount of grapefruit without being overly tart or fruity. With the grapefruit, you also can’t taste that metallic taste that everybody complains about with La Croix. Overall, I highly recommend that anyone who doesn’t like La Croix try the Grapefruit then get back to me.
This is probably my favorite scent for fall. It smells very pumpkin-y, but without being so overly so that you smell like a candle. If I had anything against this fragrance, it’s that it seems to disappear quickly. As in, I’ll spray it, then and hour later the smell seems to be gone. But otherwise, love it!
My favorite beauty sponge! I feel like it absorbs just the right amount of water and is nice and soft. I also like that it’s only $6. I use this sponge almost every time I do my makeup and I could not be happier! Highly recommend.
