As the name says, Beauty Killer Eyeshadow Palette by Jeffree Star Cosmetics is actually a Killer in terms of pigmentation and for other well Renowned Makeup Palettes. Before this, My to-go palettes were Anastasia Beverly Hills - Shadow Couture World Traveler Eye Shadow Palette [Review] and Makeup Geek X MannyMUA Palette [Review] But nothing beats pigmentation when it comes to Jeffree Start Cosmetics. It has the price tag for a reason which I now totally understand. This Eye Shadow Palette needs no more reviews as all the internet is filled with the raved posts. So, I will also be focusing on swatches mainly.
Lately I’ve been wearing these lip creams and its one of my to-go lip product for daily wear now.
I picked up NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antrewp and Addis Ababa a couple of months ago and became really fond of their texture.
They are not quite lipstick, not quite gloss. They have a very buttery texture that applies smoothly on the lips and dries to a matte finish in seconds.
They smell ah-mazinggg like a vanilla flavour icecream and I can smell them when I uncap them.[just love the smell] but sadly it fades away after application. It lasts about 3-4 hours on my lips with out eating. I can get these to last over 4 hours or until i eat. eating is the only thing that really disturbs these creams.
They have a variety of shades for every skin color and they are super afforable matte lip cream. It's priced USD 6.
Review for: Redrum, Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick ~ Androgyny
Packaging : The liquid lipstick comes in a transparent plastic tube with a barbie pink cap. The brand name and logo is printed on it in rose gold. The wand is clear and has a slight bend to it which holds a sufficient amount of product. But if you have small lips you will find the application difficult with the wand but you can use any lip brush. Formula : The formula of the Velour Lipstick is quite watery but I still find it consistent than huda beauty's liquid lipsticks. If you find your lipstick bleeding, you need to shake your bottle really well before the application. But since, It’s liquid-y, so you have to have a steady hand during application. Texture : These lipsticks dries down completely matte and are super lightweight, does not settle into the fine lines at all. But it will accentuate any dry patches if lips are not exfoliated before applying. Pigmentation : The brand is well know for its awesomely pigmented products and the pigmentation of these lipsticks doesn't fail to impress me. One swipe will give you opaque coverage. Longevity : It's unbeatable compared to Huda Beauty and Dose of Colors. It's non- Transferring and Kiss Proof means it wont leave stain on glasses or tea- cups. It lasted a good 8-10 hours of my lips.
This lipstick comes in a black cardboard packaging, which has some really attractive prints in silver. The brand name is embossed in metallic fonts. The lipstick tube is clear with some intriguing patterns over it. It contains the brand’s tag line and shade name at the bottom. This lipstick has a doe-foot applicator with a wand that’s neither too long nor too short. Overall, the applicator is apt for precise application.
“K-Dub” is a mauve pinkish red shade with cool undertones with a complete matte finish. It is bright enough to brighten up a dull day. The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth. The consistency is so thin that it goes on so smoothly and glides easily on the lips but with that You have to be extra careful during application because a tiny mistake shows up badly in case of such bright shades. I Prefer using this lipstick brush for precise application.
This lipstick is insanely pigmented and gives a complete opaque coverage in a single swipe. A little amount is good enough to give an intense colour. The lipstick dries out super quickly in a few seconds. It feels so feathery light and comfortable on the lips. It does not feel dry at all.
This liquid lipstick has no fragrance. It lasted for 7-8 hours on my lips without any meals, but it starts to feel dry after 3 or 4 hours. It fades away unevenly with a full meal. The lipstick is somewhat transfer proof so its an additinal plus but I would say it is not totally waterproof. It stains and transfers a bit when it comes in contact with water.
For me, Urban Decay is primarily an eye makeup brand. I have always loved their pigmented eye pencils, glitter eyeliners and pigmented shadows, and, of course, the iconic Primer Potion.
So, when came out with their foundation range, I had to try it. I receiveed the sample along with my purchase so it was good opportuntity to try before buying the full sized.
I absolutely and totally loved about this foundation – it’s lightweight, long wearing and smudge proof formula and this foundation literally lasts through the day. I have actually ended up sleeping in it and woke up with about half the coverage still on my face.
It is sweat and waterproof to a certain extent too. Another great part is "its Transfer Proof" Yes it is. I hate most of the foundations because they would transfer on my shirt and especially on phone. Anyway, none of that with this foundation. So far, I have experienced very minimal transferring. Mainly, when I press a tissue hard on my face.
This works best when applied with a stippling brush. The finish can best be described as semi-matte and it makes the skin a little more luminous and gives medium coverage
