I got this as a sample from Sephora. This doesn't withstand the really hot and humid weather NY has been experiencing lately (but what would?!) but it makes my makeup go on smoothr and last a bit longer than when I use cheaper primers. And I did notice a slight difference in how my makeup/skin photographed. It did look better, but it didn't do anything to cover my pores. Also I did have to use less of this primer to cover my face than I do with most other drugstore primers I've tried.
I wish I could give this 10 stars. This is one of my all time favorite candies and every time I buy it, I have to really force myself not to eat a whole box in a day. I normally don't go more mint and chocolate but this has the right ratio of the two.
Simple, small, does what it says. A little dot of this stuff keeps both my hands soft and moisturized the whole day. Smells nice too(kind of fruity- it says that this contains apricots in it), and like others have said, a good thing to carry in your bag.
I got this from Sephora for around $14. Compared to a slightly cheaper blow dry product I got from Sally's, this works well with my hair- when I take the time to blow dry it properly, it comes out soft and shiny and less frizzy. But it has an oily feel to it, so using too much weighs down my hair a little. A little bit does the job and the travel size has lasted me a while- although I don't use it every time I blow dry.
I think this helped my eye lashes grow back a little quicker when they fell out. I applied it like a liner on my lids for that. Coating my actual lashes with it didn't do much other than make my lashes stick together and irritate my eyes later on. Like other reviewers, I think this helped the less full areas on my brows grow in a bit too.
This helps make my foundation last a bit longer (although I have oily skin so it's not quite fool proof) and also removes any shine that I have going on later in the day without disturbing my makeup. I also like to use this to make some of my shinier lipsticks look matte- really useful.
This does a great job at removing my makeup at the end of the day so it's good as a cleanser. As a mask it's great too and leaves my skin feeling clean without leaving it too dry - although I have oily skin to begin with. It removes the oil off my skin but my skin still feels soft after using it. And I really like that cold- tingly sensation that I feel after applying it. It makes my skin feel refreshed. I'm not sure how well it'd work with dry skin but this works well for me!
I got these in a set of two for 7.50 from Amazon. I don't like using it with my Maybelline fit me matte foundation- I think bit absorbs the foundation which is kind of a waste of product - and it makes the foundation hard to blend (when used damp or dry- although damp is slightly better). If you don't have scarring, this is great for natural looking makeup where your skin peeks through a little. But I just use it to blend my concealers when highlighting and contouring and it is great for that. So I'm glad I bought it. I'll just stick to using a brush to apply foundation.
I use this to highlight my nose and cheekbones and it works beautifully. Especially on my cheekbones- it really makes them pop once I blend it out a little. I've had my little sample from Sephora for a while now and it lasts forever.
