When I was a teen I tried benzoyl peroxide for my occasional acne but it irritated my skin and dried it out. So then I tried this and two decades later I still keep it on hand. I don't have a major acne problem, just the occasional pimple and this isn't magic or immediate (nothing I've seen is) but it does work well for me. A tried and true staple product.
I love this thing! It's like scratching an itch you didn't know you had and it's such a relief! That's really my main reason for liking it, also it's easy to get your back with it, it just feels great! I never really liked regular loofahs and the "natural" loofas always get moldy looking.
Going platinum-white is best done at a professional stylist! It's very time consuming (would take me 5 hours usually) and a lot can go wrong (I eventually ended up with a lot of breakage because of various factors). I definitely prefer and recommend getting hair done in a salon. That said, I couldn't afford it while in grad school. I was regularly keeping up my platinum-white by bleaching my roots at home. Wella T18 was the toner I always used to extinguish all yellow and I was very pleased with the results. It will only work on a very light base though - the inside of a banana peel or lighter.
This product lasts me forever but I have repurchased. It has a very subtle nice scent (I am very sensitive to scents), moisturizes and gives lips a nice slip. I also use it on dry spots or cuticles occasionally. It's softer and less sticky than Aquaphor® Healing Ointment but Aquaphor is more serious of a treatment. The little tin is super cute and classic. My only complaint with the tin is that mine melted while laying on it's side (I think I left it in the car) so now the salve is all on one side and on the lid, which makes it messier and harder to open. I probably just need to remelt it sitting upright to get it back to normal though.
These are soft, comfortable, and matte but not drying or ultra-matte. They do not flake or crack or even really feel dry. They are nicely pigmented but they do NOT have the lasting power of liquid lipsticks, but I didn't expect them to. Cannes is a ylbb color, very pretty. The color range is very nice and it's an inexpensive and solid choice for matte lipstick.
I wouldn't really call it a "stain" but I love this formula for cream matte liquid lipstick. It goes on smooth, it's comfortable, it doesn't cake, crack, or flake off, it lasts a long time and I think it's a bit less drying even then my other favorites, Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick . I don't think my lips "wither" as much with this formula. I only have the color 01 Always Red, it is a classic deep true red and I get compliments every single time I wear it. It's very bold but super flattering with my skintone (I feel like it would be on most skintones).
These were the winners for me when I was going through the ultra matte liquid lip trend. The formula is really nice, it goes on smoothly, feels comfortable, and doesn't cake, crack, or flake and last a long time, even through some meals. Yes, my lips look a bit dry or "withered" but not terribly so and that was on trend. I also love the formula of the SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick but when I was purchasing the Gerard Cosmetics colors were just way more appealing. I love every single color I purchased and they usually have good deals or codes so that's why I have 5 different colors. ICED MOCHA I gave to my sister because it was very similar to INVASION but I preferred the purple of Invasion for my skintone. SERENITY is a perfect ylbb. SKINNY DIP is a perfect ylbb color for my lips in particular which are a little cooler toned. APHRODITE is a peachy nudey light color which is a little more of a "look" on me so I wear it the least of the ones I've purchased but I still really like it.
It makes me so SO sad to give this bad review because I absolutely LOVE this color. It is so pretty, it was one I spotted on someone on pinterest and immediately had to track down because I was so in love with it. The formula, however, is horrendous; it is so incredibly drying that it's terribly uncomfortable and immediately cracks and flakes off. I can not wear it, I just look at it wistfully.
I love this palette! I am really not typically into buying palettes because I only use one or two colors, however I received this as a gift over a year ago and am very impressed. They are all matte shadows, not at all chalky, and very pigmented. The colors are just perfect honestly, they aren't too brown or too grey, and I really don't need any other colors. I am absolutely sold on the quality of these palettes.
