This is absolutely nothing to write home about. I don't understand the positive reviews! I have relatively thin and fine straight, blonde hair. I've used other dry shampoos that are an absolute BREEZE to use, but this just didn't work! I had to keep shaking and spraying and shaking and spraying, rubbing and rubbing... and my hair was still oily! It smells good, but... this was a dud.
Ugh, I want to love this so badly, but there's just a few problems. The white stuff doesn't go on thick enough (maybe my bottle came with that part already dried out?) So I spend a lot of time coating them in white. Then the black doesn't go on fast enough either and you can see the white stuff... so I have to put on multiple coats, which results in horrible spider lashes. And then I get mascara on the base of my eyelids, which rarely happens to me and I think is because the wand is SO THICK. And then I go through with my lash separator...which somehow removes like half of the mascara and taking the volume with it. My sister claims she likes the finished look, but it's a frustrating process and I get so disappointed with losing my volume. It is easy to take off though, and I don't get raccoon eyes.
This apple juice is pretty good. It's clearly not straight from your apple tree, but it will do. And the little cans are perfect, especially when you're dealing with children who want to be seen as grown ups who get to drink the whole can.
I am very disappointed in this shampoo. I gave it two stars because it does smell good. But there's a couple huge issues:
#1 It claims to be sulfate free, yet the second ingredient is Olefin Sulfonate. A quick google search will tell you that's just as harsh as SLS. #2 It leaves my hair feeling unclean. That would be fine if it were truly sulfate / harsh chemical free, because I would understand being in the transition stage...but instead, I am left with harsh chemicals and unclean hair.
For the price, this stuff is EXCELLENT! The biggest downside I see is that it runs off easily...but only when I rub my eyes. By the end of the day there is often a bit of mascara under my eyes but it comes off easily with toilet paper as necessary. I will likely continue to purchase this!
The key to loving this cereal is to letting it sit in the milk for a minute or so to soften the too-crunchy pieces. Then, you get sweet raisins mixed with the kinda-crunchy, kinda-soft bran bites. Oh, and it helps keep you regular! Seriously it's great.
I am IMPRESSED! I rarely paint my fingernails because it just feels like a waste of time, considering how short of a time they last. However, this stuff is great. It's CHEAP, which means I was expecting it to last about a day, maybe two at most. But I painted my nails on Monday morning, biked to class every day, assembled a coffee table with my hands for THREE hours, did dishes, cleaned the apartment... and by Thursday night, there's only some fading on the tips. There's no chipping. There's no smushing. OH, and I timed it - they were completely dry in under six minutes.
Unfortunately I only received a trial size version of these products so I didn't get to experiment with them. The process was fairly time consuming (for someone who takes 5 minute showers) because you have to keep the productd in your hair for 2-4 minutes.
My hair felt GREAT when I washed the product out, but it actually ended up wavier than it usually does. The waves looked nicer...but it definitely was not straight.
If I had more than a one-time use sample I would have tried different blow drying methods but I didn't have that opportunity. It was not impressive enough for me to spend the money to continue experimenting.
