Coloring book illustrator, blogger, crafter, cook, enthusiastic amateur photographer, active Amazon reviewer, winner of the first Duck Tape MyDesign Contest, mother, wife and Alaskan. That's the short version- long version? I'm too busy for that!
My favorite hair clips! They remind me a lot of a type of a barrette that was common in the 80s that I liked, but these are softer, more flexible and work for all sorts of hair styles holding hair securely with no ouch.
I love my Kindle Paperwhite. The lighting isn't hard on the eyes even for hours of reading, and it really does work in bright daylight too. It's the closest e-reader to an actual paper experience, and it's lighter and more comfortable than reading a paperback. Being able to set the font size so it's just right, and reading in bed without having a light on to bother my husband is wonderful.
I like Chicken of the Sea tuna as a backup staple for quick meals. It works well in tuna patties, mac and cheese and of course, tuna casserole (I make a cold tuna casserole my family loves). It's wonderfully convenient for when I just don't want to go to the grocery store.
Replacing 1/4 of any recipe that has chocolate chips with butterscotch chips is something I've done for years. People love the way it tastes. These are so good that the big challenge is keeping my husband from eating the rest of the bag before I use it!
