I consider Whole Foods to be a boutique for high-end foods. Everything is laid out very beautifully, the entire store is very clean and well-lit, and the prices are astronomical. Foods will cater to eaters who value organic, locally-sourced items - but in my opinion, similar options can be found for much less at a Trader Joe's.
Chipotle is so delicious, quickly prepared in their assembly line format, highly customizable, and just overall yummy! I honestly think every Chipotle I've been to has had great business and consistently good food. I'll be back again and again.
Okay, so this water tastes pretty good, BUT distilled water (if this is really distilled) is really not good for your body. If you know anything about chemistry, than you'll know that a solution with a high concentration separated by membrane from another solution with low concentration will see concentration going to equalize. This is your blood and the water I'm talking about, and you're flushing out a lot of things unnecessarily. I highly advise against this.
Ipsy is the go-to entrance for sub boxes for many beauty lovers since it offers generally makeup products at good deluxe sample to full sizes at a mere $10 a month! I've had Ipsy for three months and while some items I got weren't ones I'd personally choose for myself, I've had a great time watching the spoilers, talking about the bag, and even swapping for items I did want instead. Each bad has been worth it to me, but for someone with more makeup products, this bag may be too much of the same old. Look into the many blog reviews before making your decision, or take the plunge! At $10, it's worth the surprise.
The top two pros to this are its pigmentation and price. At $3 and even less on sale, you can get all four colors for less than $15. Ridiculous! Every color is quite pigmented, so dabbing your blush brush is all you'll need to do. The included brush is not very good for application, though, so you'll definitely want to invest in a blush brush separately. Keep in mind that the only true matte is Heather Silk which leans cool-toned and the satin-ish is Mellow Wine which is warmer. Pearlescent Pink is shimmery, but in a wearable way. Definitely try out these blushes!
I liked this as my first foray into the gel eyeliner world, and while it applies nicely, I do still have problems with smudging. Almost every eyeliner smudges for me, but that makes this one fall short of HG status. Alas.
I love these! These are for the occasions where you want pretty nails, but don't want the time consumption of waiting for each layer to dry and carefully applying the design, hoping nothing smudges - which for me, always ends up happening anyways. I prep my nails by swiping them with polish remover and stick on the Sally Hansen stickers. Then I add a quick dry top coat and it'll stay for a good two weeks!
Clinique Happy is a great, great scent. I love the citrus top notes and the sandalwood drydown. Unfortunately, it has a reputation for turning quickly, so use up that bottle quickly if you're getting a full size! Happy is also known for reacting differently with each person's body chemistry, so definitely test it out first. My purse size Happy is perfect for on the go fragrance touch ups. :)
OPI is a brand of nail polish I trust to bring on-trend color at an affordable price. There are so many different colors, it's hard to know where to start with OPI! I love their neutrals and glitter top coats the best, personally. Only minor detail is that they like to name their polishes with very very long, silly names. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's a pain!
I got a Baby Lips in Grape, and the color is cute and just a little purple tint, but it feels very slick and greasy. It doesn't really stay in the same place and is not very long lasting. I probably won't be repurchasing it because there are better options out there. Sorry, Baby Lips, you're not that special. :(
