This is gentle on dry, winter skin, but it also left a film and didn't smell great. I like SheaMoisture's products in general and their body washes especially, but this is probably my least favorite of the bunch. That said, the price point is good for the ingredients, and it is cruelty-free, so it's still better than most competitors...just not as tempting as other SheaMoisture washes.
This was awful. I couldn't bear to keep it on as long as recommended, and even rinsing it off after 30 seconds left my skin irritated. I do have dry, sensitive skin, but frankly I can't imagine most people would tolerate this well - in addition to plastic microbeads that are harsh (and terrible for the environment), it is full of irritating ingredients (which, admittedly, do make it smell good in a wintry spice tea sort of way) that have no business on anyone's facial skin.
I've tried quite a few DE products so far (with positive results) and as a total lip balm junkie I was so excited to use this! Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. The balm itself is average, maybe a little better than average - it is smooth and feels good on the lips, goes on with no tugging or effort, and really doesn't have much taste/scent at all. However, it also doesn't last that long: it doesn't last overnight, and even during the day I am constantly reapplying, even if I haven't been drinking/eating. I also don't feel the packaging is as sturdy as many balms. Overall, it's pretty ho hum, but when you consider the price it is a total fail. If you're looking for a better balm at this price point, I'd suggest Bite Beauty's agave balm.
Website can be a little quirky in sorting out charges, and it's a little annoying that you have to wait until the end of a statement period to see your accumulated cash back (and then click through multiple screens and redeem it only in specified increments), but the rewards (cash back, purchase protection, discounts) are well worth it. Also, payments are credited to you immediately which is rare for banks.
Capital One's rewards are the easiest to redeem of any card I have (do it any time, no minimums, not a zillion screens to click through), and their website is the easiest to navigate, whether I want to analyze spending, make a payment, anything. Their payments post faster than Chase and you can have multiple payments pending at once - while that doesn't make an actual difference very often, it frustrates me as a matter of principle that some banks can't handle you setting up a payment if a prior one hasn't posted yet!
Love the look of their products, and I like the variety of fabrics offered - sometimes leather bags area great but other times canvas is preferrable. The rain gear is classic. I even like Burberry watches. Quality can be a little iffy for the price, as we have had some wallets wear out quite quickly.
