I got a free box of blue apron last week with 2 meals: broccoli pasta with calabrian chile paste and black bean quesadillas with a side salad of roasted carrots and avocado. I thought both meals were pretty flavorful, and the recipe cards made it easy to follow the directions. Prepping the ingredients takes the most time. Also i dont like how the recipes involve adding salt 3-4 times per dish...that seems excessive and hard to know how much to add so i would just add it in once at the end. Also, for a meal service thats supposed to help you make restaurant quality meals it would have been nicef for them to give suggestions on how much salt and pepper to add, instead of just saying add to taste. Out of the meals i made, the roasted carrot side salad was actually my favorite- the pickled goathorn peppers were amazig and this is actually something i want to make again. The quesadillas and the pasta were good but not amazing, and i dont think they would be worth the price of a subscription. I would only buy blue apron in the future if they had some incredibly exotic meal with special ingredients that i really wanted to try,and even then i would rathereat it at a restaurant than have to make it and wash dishes.
I got a free sample of this (as well as the blow dry anti-frizz cream) from Garnier, and I have to say I'm not as impressed with this product as the blow dry version. This helped my hair not get too frizzy when I let it air dry, but it made the roots feel oily and kind of coated the strands in products.
These lentils are a hearty dish that is really easy to heat up when you need a quick, nutritious meal. It's tastes really good when you add in onions or other vegetables. Also, it's not very spicy, so if you like more spice, adding in some pepper also makes it taste really good. These are a great deal when they're on sale at Costco.
This wine was a lot less sweet than i was hoping, but i guess that's to be expected considering how cheap it is. However, the fruity flavors were nice, and im glad it wasn't bitter.I think this wine would be more enjoyable for someone who doesn't like sweet wines.
I'm so glad i got a free sample of this from innisfree as part of the #PreenMeVIP program. I just tried it tonight after cleansing my face, and I love it so much. The mousse texture of the mask is just so creamy, and I liked how the mask didn't feel too dry on my face even after it dried. When I removed the mask, my face felt super soft and refreshed!
I got a sample of this anti-frizz cream and I really like it, a lot more than I even expected. I just smooth this cream through my hair before blow drying it, and it really helps to smooth the hairs at the top of my head that usually turn all frizzy. The cream also has a nice texture, and makes my hair feel soft and sleek. I'm definitely going to look for the full sized product the next time i go to the store.
This cumin powder is great for adding an authentic indian flavor to my #influenstereats creations. I’ve always found this to be of great quality, and im glad they sell it at my local indian store. You just need to add a little bit along with salt and pepper and it adds a nice flavor to curries. I actually prefer this to the whole cumin because i feel like cumin powder is more versatile and saves the effort of having to grind he spice yourself
I love these little chocolate covered blueberries so much! They are just bursting with flavor and a great chocolatey snack. The chocolate is very high quality! I also really like the other Brookside flavors like the pomegranate and the little clusters.
I really like this green tea. The blueberry flavor adds a nice fruity taste to the tea, so I never add sugar. I drink this whenever I'm craving a snack in the afternoon because I'm bored, but I'm not actually hungry. I have no idea if this tea actually helps you get slimmer, since I didn't drink this for that purpose
