Was my hair more moisturized? Yes. Did it smell good? Sure! Is it worth the pricetag? Not sure. I tried this via a BYOB Birchbox sample, and it worked on my course, thick hair! A quick blowdry and my hair is voluminous but not dry. Not sure if I would use this regularly, but if I needed a mask for travel, I would probably buy the smaller size.
I work in a radiation clinic, so Aquaphor is a brand well known to me for its clinical uses. I needed a unscented hand cream for my dry Chicago winter hands, and figured I would just try this. At less than $6, you can’t go wrong! Super portable, and a little goes a long way. Also helps if you get paper cuts!
Not a fan of this one. Received in an Influenster VoxBox a long time ago and felt that while the scent was good, the texture was more tacky than texturizing. Maybe would’ve been good for braids? Not my favorite 😩
I have dark dark dark brown hair, that sometimes gets a bit oily at the roots, even on the same day that I wash it. I had used a few different brands, but found this one available in a BYOB Birchbox box at my local Walgreens, and had to try it for the good price that was offered. While there is the slightest bit of leftover residue, I found that most of the “shampoo” could easily be worked into my scalp. I will definitely be buying again!
I was in need of a heavy conditioner because my hair was becoming more dry and my scalp was becoming dandruff-y in the Chicago winter. I had been using a lavender scented shampoo and conditioner and wanted to mix it up scent-wise, so I went to Target to check out the Garnier selection, having used it a long time ago when the product was just being introduced to the USA. What results is a good conditioner- a bit on the heavier side, but that was needed for me since I needed more conditioning and my hair is thicker. The cost was around $5 for a huge bottle, and you just know Target’s going to have a sale. Highly recommend!
I’ve tried both the puff (pink) and beam (peach) colors of this cream blush. I was a little nervous because I have combination-to-oily skin and had grown up on the powdery stuff. These left a nice light glow that lasts ALL DAY. It may seem a little intense when you put it on, but as long as you start light, your skin will absorb some, usually leaving a light glow. I purchased mine through a Glossier consultant, Laurie, so I got 20% off! Highly recommend!
A classic mascara, perfect for everyday. Not a ton of volume, but a very clean, no clumpy mascara. It took a few coats to get some added "umph," but the formula was thin enough that I could use a coat on my bottom lashes without any flaking or sweating. Great pick for a drugstore mascara! Thank you to Influenster for letting me enter this contest, in exchange for a review.
I just got a sample of this from Sephora, and I am in LOVE with the scent. However, what I don't love is that there is a tacky, sticky quality to the hair once rinsed out. The scent was lingering, which was so nice (no need for perfume, seriously), but the way my hair felt was enough not to buy it. I have very thick hair and was excited to feel the quality of silkiness provided by the other MorroccanOil products, but that just didn't happen here. I would be SO interested in trying the body buff or the shower milk in the same scent!
Do I regularly use ranch dressing on my salads? Not usually. Do I use the ranch seasoning packets? OH YES!
My husband and I first started using this product to make ranch pizzas. Take a crescent roll sheet pack, bake it and let it cool. Mix this dip with sour cream and cream cheese, and spread. Top it off with veggies like carrots 🥕 broccoli, celery, etc. So easy!
