Review for Herbal Essences Cucumber & Green Tea Foam Conditioner - 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
This conditioner is cool as a cucumber. The foam texture is a lot of fun and makes deep conditioning a breeze; the foam itself mixes into the hair way easier than a cream and rinsing is easier than usual. The scent, as always, is on point and really takes the combination of green tea and cucumber to a new level. It left a bit of a residue, which is the only reason for deducted stars, but I think the delivery method makes up for that. It pairs very well with the shampoo.

Review for Herbal Essences Cucumber & Green Tea Shampoo - 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
We all know that Herbal Essences products are known, and perhaps even best known, for their never ending combinations of fanciful fragrances and this cucumber green tea concoction doesn't disappoint in that department. It's a calming and far from overbearing mixture of the two flavors with a little bit of a sweet kick that lingers pleasantly in the shower and beyond. I was pleasantly surprised by how clarifying this shampoo managed to be without stripping my hair of its natural oils. Used on its own, this is a rather hydrating shampoo that easily builds up to a full lather. A little bit goes a long way so be careful!

Review for: Gilded (sparkly anitque gold) (online only) more...
Anastasia BH's Gilded is easily my favorite gold lipgloss! The color and shine is beyond compare and, unlike a lot of the lip toppers out there, this one fades away really nicely and always leaves a hint of shimmer behind, even when it's no longer visibly glossy.

Review for: Black Ink, Violet Ink more...
Bobbi was first, Bobbi is still best-- this product is beyond compare. There isn't another gel eyeliner on the market with the same lasting power on the waterline and over the years the black ink and violet ink colors have become permanent staples of my collection.

I can thank my mother for bringing this into my life... It's fantastic. There are few stick eyeliners that last on the waterline like this one and the sharpener cap is easily one of the best eyeliner sharpeners I've ever used. It's an all-around great product.

Review for Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - 10 months, 3 weeks ago

Yes, it's worth it. Absolutely so. This is hands down the best wear-extending and finish improving primer I have in my arsenal. It takes remarkably little to coat the face and, because of such, one bottle of the stuff lasts ages. The frosted glass and gunmetal cap are simply beautiful as well, making this something to keep stored on your top shelf.

Review for: Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder 0.67 oz more...
This is a good enough powder for getting the job done however for the price I do think there are significantly better alternatives. Thing is, it's not a bad product in the end and it does a nice job of extending the wear of foundation. If you're into the KvD aesthetic this isn't a bad choice.

First off, this is a truly beautiful product. The delicate marbling and stark, squared-off packaging is stunning and it looks incredibly luxurious. This is a great product for somebody that's interested in a subtle highlight rather than a bright strobe and it's tempting to use this as a finishing powder (though it's just a little too intense for that, unfortunately).

Review for Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder - 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
There's a reason why this is the gold standard of setting powders and the hype is very real. This stuff will extend the wear of your makeup beyond what you would ever need, holds up in the most humid of weather, and applies perfectly translucent. I'll put this on over no foundation just to give my face a flawless, shine-free look while still letting my freckles come through, too.
