Spirit is great if you are a single flyer and don’t have a lot of bags to bring with you. However, if you’re willing to give up certain luxuries to save a bunch of money— they are the way to go too. For example, I flew round trip for my entire family (4 people) from California to Illinois for less than 400 dollars. We didn’t pick our seats (which means we were subject to being split up) and we took minimal bags as well. On the way back, we had to add baggage and it tacked on 100(+) bucks. But, the customer service was fine and we made it in one piece, and I would recommend and fly with them again.
I love frontier. Their website is so easy to use and I love the email deals they send frequently. I have been able to get amazing prices on tickets from Chicago to Los Angeles multiple times. I like frontier the best because they are very no fuss, but still allow a personal item and carry on for free as opposed to spirit who charges for everything.
Beefeater is my favorite (affordable) gin. First of all, the taste is perfect. It’s more citrusy than other gins I enjoy, and also isn’t as spicy as others— which I like. Its “London dry” descriptor means no flavorings can be added and it’s all about the botanicals. To top it off, this brand has been around for a LONG time, and the history of the whole thing is really interesting! If you haven’t tried it, and you’re into gin— this is a must try!
I love this gin! I don’t usually buy it to have at home, but I treat myself to it when we are out for a date or with friends. It’s not as dry as some of the other brands I’m loyal to. But, it’s a perfect balance of spicy and floral. Great for a classic gin and tonic with a wedge of lime! Cheers!
