This liquid lipstick lives up to its reputation of never budging! With a perfectly matte finish, this lipstick truly did look velvety and smooth. The formula survived a meal with drinks, as well as a few kisses! The applicator is fairly standard in shape, which I find works well to paint my lip. Being so matte, however, the product does pick up any flaky patches and ultimately dries out your lips.
I received this product as a gift (I could not buy for myself due to the price point at £16 + shipping on the official website), but requested the colour ‘Riot’ as I felt it would be a beautiful deep nude/brown tinged with red- a cute, everyday colour. However, the lipstick looks much more red than I had expected, particularly surprising as numerous swatches show this product as more brown. As such, I am apprehensive to recommend these lipsticks as the colour may not be quite as advertised.
These lashes are natural-looking, reusable, and perfect for smaller eye shapes.
Having lost my usual Eylure lashes, I picked these up on a whim. I adore wispy styles, and am not too keen on thick, overpowering falsies.
Easy to apply despite a thinner, less visible band than most Eylure products, and much easier to place correctly due to its smaller size. I love the wispy effect, however, I could see gaps in the band between where the lashes are bonded. Thus, I had to tightline between the band and my upper lash line to hide this, which felt like more effort than necessary.
The duo lash adhesive provided stays put perfectly all day, although the applicator is less convenient than the stick used in Eylure glues.
This product gave me a pretty little boost that looked natural and sultry, but I was quite disappointed that nobody even noticed them! Great for everyday looks, but perhaps too lacklustre for an event or evening.
Love this budget tanner! With an olive skin tone, I didn’t believe this tan would make much difference to my colour. As my first self-tanning product, I couldn’t ask for more.
The pump dispenser is convenient and easy to use, and the mousse formula dries quickly and shows streaks immediately, so you are able to blend them out before setting. I have had many compliments on my colour when using this product, especially on how natural it looks. It does not turn out orange, as I was afraid it might, but a lovely bronze that complements a naturally medium tone.
It’s very easy to apply and will reach all skin creases when buffed properly with a mitt, but will also mix fairly well with lotion to tint dry areas (knees, elbows etc.). The guard colour rinses off red, but this makes it easy to see when all excess product has been removed.
My only qualms would be its tendency to transfer and stain various circumstances (although this is somewhat expected with self tanners), and its patchiness after a few washes, but this can be reduced a little with regular moisturising and avoiding exfoliants.
Overall, an easy, cheap, natural-looking tan!

I bought this product as a treat since I usually only buy drugstore makeup. This shade has a pink undertone (which doesn’t match me, unfortunately, despite a colour matching consultation) and helps me to achieve a dewy finish. I love the added benefit of SPF, and feel the formula must consist of good ingredients, as my acne prone skin does not seem to be any worse from using it.
Although the colour is not quite right for me, the product itself is easy to blend and does not streak when applied properly. It does not look caked, but can look slightly oily by the end of the day, so may require occasional powder touch-ups.
Like most foundations, this product will transfer onto clothes, but I have not had any issues with staining as of yet.
The bottle itself could perhaps do with a more appropriate dispenser, such as a pump, as the squeeze-bottle packaging inevitably gets covered with excess makeup as you use your hands to squirt more out.
In all, this product provides a dewy, even complexion with added benefits of sun protection, but may need to be set with powder to avoid an oily sheen.
Absolutely gorgeous deep wine colour that got a lot of use during my emo phase! The formula is easy to apply and not too drying, although it can smudge and transfer when eating and drinking (or kissing, I found!). The shape of the lipstick allows for easy navigation of lip contours, particularly around the Cupid’s bow area.
The only fault I can find with this product is slightly flimsy packaging- although it may be my own carelessness, the lid cracked within a few weeks, and has since been unable to stay securely on. This is an issue when stored loose in a makeup bag, as the lid inevitably comes off and leaves the lip colour exposed to pick up lint and stain my other products.
Before application, this sheet mask was somewhat difficult to unfold due to the gel’s ‘gloopiness’, and most of the gel formula in the packet was wasted as it did not absorb into the sheet and had to be thrown away. The mask was, however, able to withstand some pulling and tugging without tearing, which impressed me!
The areas cut out from the sheet (e.g. eye holes) did not seem to be well aligned when applied to my face- for example, to keep it from covering my mouth, the mask would drop a little into my eyes. The gel did not dry at all, which felt strange and heavy for the length of time kept on.
As it did not dry, removing the mask was a little messy. I had no black residue on my skin, but plenty of gel! As such, I had to rinse my face before continuing my skincare routine.
Although good value and moisturising, I do not feel this product purified my skin as advertised, and therefore would not buy again.
