Ordered this a couple weeks back and worried that they may melt while en route to my house due to what other customers have said in different posts. Once I received them, everyone loved them! They seem to have been stored in the right temperatures, and they taste great. They are definitely safe to buy from this seller - they don't seem to be last year's chocolates.
I caught a monster cold about nine days ago, and within two or three days my nose was completely raw from wiping and blowing with ordinary tissues. I went to the store to see if I could get some tissues with moisturizers in them, and came across these Kleenex Cool Touch Tissues, and decided to give them a try. They were a bit more expensive than other tissues, but after rubbing my nose raw, I thought I'd earned a little splurge.
Wowser! Am I ever glad I tried these! First they do have moisturizers to help your skin, but even better, they are cool to the touch when you put them up against your face. Honestly, it makes a world of difference. I have been using them for several days now, and even though I still have the cold, my nose feels so much better. I love these tissues so much, I've run around like a maniac at work giving samples to all my friends
I bought these 2 gal. size Ziploc heafty jumbo bags to place a camera in . When outdoors in cold weather with a camera , you risk extreme condensation on the inside parts of your camera/camcorder etc. when moving back into a warm environment. This will cause rust and eventually ruin an expensive camera. The two gal Ziplock Heafty Jumbo bag is large enough to place your camera in, seal the bag, then when you move back into the warmth of inside your home in has time to acclimate slowly with no rust/condensation . After 30 minutes or so you simply remove the camera from the bag and you're good to go !
I'm allergic to fragrances and although this has a light clean scent, I have no reaction and love the scent. Plus it's perfect in the kitchen for washing hands, dishes, countertops, you name it! All purpose!
I've always been quite fond of Dr. Bronners soap. The peppermint is a littl too bracing for me, but this is just about perfect. The almond scent is noticeable, but withou tbeing cloyingly marzipan sweet. It's sticks around on the skin *very* lightly after the shower for a couple of hours.
I've got some pretty intense allergies to many artifical scents, and this stuff doesn't trigger any of them.
You can dilute this product by about half with plain old water, and it's just about right, strength-wise.
If you're at all prone to dry skin, find a lotion you're find of to use while your skin is still damp. You'll want it. This soap has a tendancy to strip all the oil if can find right out of your skin. The only other con I can think of for this product is, if you have a slow drain, it leaves fierce ring around the tub. It's easy to get rid of, but, it looks awful at first glance.
Take little bottles of this stuff backpacking/camping! It's completely biodegradable, so if you have to wash up in a river, youcan do so without worrying too much about what you might be killing downstream.
I had to take the time to write a review about this product--it's the best! I'm not an "organic nut", but I was sick of the strong Lysol chemical smell of a lot of the bright yellow commercial household all-purpose cleaners, not to mention that they cost a ton of money, I go through them fast, and tend to burn through rolls of paper towel in the process. So, with gift card figuratively in-hand, I thought I'd give this a try after seeing it featured on a blog. Read the reviews. Nice, nice. I like lemon verbena scent. Check. So I placed my order.
Can I tell you? I love it. Love, love, love. Twice a week I pour the designated amnt. into a bucket of warm water, get a clean rag out, and just wipe down and wash practically every surface in my house: My counter tops, cupboards, refrigerator, kitchen table, coffee table, and even the floors for spot cleaning. The scent is really nice and fresh, not overpowering at all. I wish all cleaners smelled this way! Will leave your house smelling clean and wonderful. It's not harsh on my hands, and works tremendously well at removing dirt, grime, and sticky spots. And it doesn't leave any residue on my wooden kitchen tabletop, unlike the all-purpose cleaners in the grocery store (I'm looking at you, Lysol All-Purpose!).
So despite my non-"organic nut" status, I have to feel a little good that this is kind to the environment, and that I can use this really well with a washable cloth (instead of all that paper towel).
Ive been gluten free for 3+ years. Red mill mixes are my go to staples. This is my favorite pizza dough mix because its the best value and has great taste. One tip for newly GF folks, this will NOT have the elasticity of gluten dough. I lump the dough in the middle of the pan (stoneware), drizzle with EVOO then spread out, bake 10-15 mins alone then take it out to add toppings. Enjoy!
King Arthur is a high quality flour and I'm so happy they got into the GF market. They continue with quality without compromises in this GF blend. I do enjoy Bob's Red Mill, but for baking, this King Arthur blend seems to be fluffier and more bread-like for baking. Yes, it's expensive, but more GF mixes are---this one is worth it
I bought a box of these for the first time this week at my local health food store. There are not a lot of gluten free little kid friendly cookies out there, or even for adults. There's a pretty strong sweet smell coming from the cookies in the bag. The chocolate bunnies do have a chocolate flavor and the vanilla bunnies do have a vanilla cookie taste. They are a bit on the gritty side, anyone who has been gluten free long enough can tell you that this seems to be the norm of a lot of gluten free items anyway. They aren't overly sweet, they are just plain tasty and when my 3 month old gets old enough for gluten free snacking, these are going to make a good finger food treat for him once in awhile.
