So, the nice thing about Urban Decay's lip gloss is that it's really not sticky, and the colors range from super neutral and natural to bold, vibrant and intense. They've got a decent wear length, and they're pretty hydrating as well. They get a little tacky over time, but no weird smells or irritating tastes, so that's always a bonus!
In a past life, I was a Mary Kay consultant, but I promise that my review is as objective as possible.
I'm a big fan of all of the Nourishine lip glosses. They're lightweight, the colors pop, and they don't have any sort of weird taste or tingle. Also, you can wear them over any shade of lipstick for a truly unique color combination.
So, I really, really wanted to love this product, but so far have been somewhat disappointed. As you can see in my other review about the polish color, it's already chipping off of my fingers, and started doing so the day after I put it on.
I'm going to give it one more go around and see if I get better results from round 2, but if I don't, then I definitely wouldn't recommend getting this product.
Ok, to be fair, I may need to give this another go, but my first go-around with the nail polish left me incredibly underwhelmed.
So, a few things - I do really like the color. It's a very pretty, deep pink color that can accent a lot of neutral colors very well. Also, the application process was simple.
Now, for the actual polish itself? Maybe I applied it incorrectly, but I put the polish on at night, went to bed, and the next morning when I woke up, it was already chipped off of my nails! I was super disappointed because I was really looking forward to having long-lasting gel-like polish on my fingers. I put the polish on on Monday, and it's now Thursday and my nails look awful.
Like I said, I'm going to give it another go-around because maybe I did something incorrectly, but so far, I really can't give this product a higher recommendation. If I would have spend any money on it, I would have been very upset.
We'll see how round 2 goes, but from a first impression - not so great...
Blue Moon is my go to beer. I love, love, love the taste, and there's something to be said about adding the orange to accentuate the Valencia orange peel that's already in the drink. You seriously cannot find a better Belgian Wheat beer on the market!
This is still the quintessential margarita mixer. There's something about the hint of orange that really ties the whole drink together. There are plenty of other ways to mix it, but it really does add a nice hint of flavor to any margarita on the rocks.
Kahlua is such an essential ingredient for so many delicious recipes! Not only is it great in Colorado Bulldogs and White Russians, it's essential for delicious desserts like tiramisu. It also goes great in plain old coffee! Definitely a "must have" in every liquor cabinet!
Stoli Bluberry is probably the best vodka to mix with lemonade. It's a fantastic summer drink to sip on while tailgating or sitting on the patio. The blueberry taste isn't too strong, but has a nice flavor that really pops. It's also good with cranberry juice, as it makes a nice berry medley.
Bleeder was one of the first top shelf vodkas that I ever drank, and it's one if the few liquors that does not disappoint. It's still one of my go-to vodkas when I'm out on the town, but it's great for making mixes drinks, punches, or just sipped on neat. It's an unbelievably smooth vodka.
I didn't know Trio's was a vodka the first time I heard of it. I thought for sure it was tequila. Lo and behold, they make a smooth, delicious vodka that goes great in any cocktail. I prefer bloodys and screw drivers the most, but it's also one of the few vodkas you can sip on the rocks and still enjoy the smooth flavor and finish.
