Review for Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask - 9 months, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
I must confess that I'm a fan of this mask and can always feel it working. You get the benefits of both chemical and physical exfoliation and a delightful pumpkin smell that rivals your favorite fall candles. Only downside is the price point is a bit of a splurge but it's a good option if you're looking to treat yourself.

Review for The Ordinary. AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - 9 months, 1 week ago

I love this skincare line...it's saved my skin and wallet! This is one of many amazing products in their line and it does what it claims. While my skin feels tingly during use it doesn't burn unless I get it in an open cut or wound. I use as directed 1-2x per week for a maximum of ten minutes.

Review for Living Proof Perfect Hair Day In-Shower Styler - 1 year, 7 months ago
I generally like to put minimal effort into my
hair routine since I have a habit of hitting the snooze button a few to many
times and usually end up throwing my hair up in a bun. I wanted to wear my hair
down more often but not have to put in too much effort either so I decided to
try this out with the cheaper travel size to see if I liked it. My hair’s
texture is not quite straight but not textured enough to fall into the curly
category either and tends to be on the frizzy side. After failed attempts with
other products like sea spray and air dry mousse that left my hair looking more
cave woman than beach babe, I was pleasantly surprised by the nice wavy texture
I got using PhD In Shower Styler.

After
shampooing and conditioning my hair in the evening I simply work this product
through while still in the shower, combing through it to remove any tangles and
lightly rinse. I then towel dry my hair until it’s just damp and then throw it
up into a simple sock bun on the crown of my head with an invisibobble (to
avoid the kink from a standard hair binder). The next morning I take my hair down and have some nice soft workable waves in my hair.
Review for tarte™ Amazonian clay matte waterproof bronzer - 1 year, 7 months ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
If I had to pick only 5 cosmetic items to take with me to a deserted island this would be one of them. I have light skin that tans well in the summer and I find that I can wear this bronzer shade year-round. I like that it is matte and doesn't have any shimmer so it can pull double duty for contouring and bronzing. It also has some really good staying power and I've never had an issue with it clogging my pores or irritating my skin.
